Sneak Peek: Tarte Treat Yourself to Gorgeous 28 Piece Color Collection

I’m busy testing out the Tarte Treat Yourself to Gorgeous 28 Color Collection this week. I’ll be reviewing it towards the end of this month for you but I couldn’t resist taking a few photos of this set so we can all drool all over it.

The Tarte Treat Yourself to Gorgeous 28 Piece Color Collection will be available as a QVC Todays Special Value on November 28th and includes all full size products. If you’re busy trying to get down gifts for the beauty lovers in your life you should consider this as it can be easily broken up to create three great gifts.

But…let’s step back to reality for a brief moment. We all know that we’ll be purchasing it for ourselves. Greedy buggers that we are!

The set includes twenty full size Tarte Amazonian Clay Eye Shadow in a festive palette, four full size Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lipglosses, and four full size Tarte Cashmere Eyeliners.

The glosses and eyeliners come in their own gift boxes. These boxes all attach magnetically to the eyeshadow palette so you can stack them together for storage. Or as I suggested above you can easily detach them and gift three different friends with one piece each of the gift set. Or if you’re an extra generous friend maybe you’ll give them the entire set!

At $49.98 it’s a rather nice beauty budget price. It’ll also be available an easy pay plan with three payments of $16.66 over the course of three months so you can take a little beauty mortgage out on this little gift set.

A review, swatches, and some thoughts are on the way from yours truly soonish!

This launches on QVC November 28th but can be purchased early if you’re a QVC insider at QVC.com

Will you be indulging?

Oooooooh, if I had not gotten the *Baby it’s Bold Outside* at the VIB sale last week this would be mine. Those E/C are very close to the set I got and I love them ~ creamy, pigmented and blends soooo nice. And those Maracuja lip glosses Oh my!! 😀

  • Suselew

Do you know the colors of the eye liners? I wish the lipglosses were their Lipsurgence lip tints instead.

  • Serena

I indulged early! While it’s a stunning looking set (and the price is right!) I’m returning to QVC. The eyeshadows just don’t have enough pay-off for me. They are dusty and lack pigment. :*( The eyepencils are nice, but I have so many, and ditto with the lipglosses.

  • amy

Have you tried them with a primer, or wet? Either seems to intensify tarte shadows for me.

  • Carly

Is it me or have we seen these eyeshadow shades from Tarte before? A lot of the colors remind me of the Neuraleyes II palette as well as the Femme Naturale and Eye Couture palettes. Like they took their favorite shades from those palettes and stuck them as one. I love Tarte but I’m not sure I will be purchasing…Maybe I’ll ask my mom to get it for me as an x-mas gift instead…lol. Also are the lipglosses different shades from their other Maracuja Lipgloss set exclusive to QVC?

  • Serena

Amy, I always use a good primer! Had not thought to try them wet! Thanks for the advice! It’s actually already packaged up to be sent back – I have so many eyeshadows w/ pigment that I can’t justify keeping this kit.

  • LilLouLou

Are the eyeliners retractable? I loved the eyeliners in the 8 piece TSV earlier this year. But they were not retactable which always bugs me. These look like they may be the same thing.

  • Diane

I got this early thru insideq too. I love the shadows! They are so pretty. The liners are nice but for some reason the cashmere liner that came in a previous tsv wears on my waterline longer. The glosses are very pretty and not sticky

I can’t wait for your review on this set! I snagged this early, and I think it’s packaged beautifully.

I love your reviews by the way!I bought this set in hopes it will be better than the sephora holiday set. I have extremely oily lids use nars primer but cant get this eyeshadows to work for me.I do love their lip surgens and mascara .

Would you recommend this treat yourself to gorgeous or the carried away set? I can’t get both but would like to put one on my Xmas list…

    • the Muse

depends what you want out of the palette alexandra. carried away has a nice selection of everything including blush where as treat yourself only caters to eyes and lips. Both are excellent deals. I actually like the treat yourself better simply because I like the colors in the palette more, they seem warmer than the Carried Away. Carried Away does have more options those for your entire face and isn’t limited to eye and lips alone.
