Almay Smart Shade Collection Spring 2013

Almay Smart Shade Perfectly Mousse Makeup and Almay Smart Shade Blush are two new offerings at the drugstore for Spring 2013. I ran across these are Harmons recently and couldn’t resist picking up the three blushes and the foundation.

I seem to be in the sad minority who doesn’t like Revlon’s Colorstay Whipped Foundation so I’m a little on the fence about Almay’s version!

Take a look!

Almay Smart Shade Perfectly Mousse Makeup ($9.99) is available in four shades, Light, Light/Medium, Medium, and Dark. The sparse shade selection is because these four shades are supposed to suit most all skin tones due to the color match formula which adjusts to your tone.

There are also new Almay Smart Shade Blushes ($8.69) in three different shades that resemble Almay’s Smart Shade Powder which I happen to adore.

I’ll be reviewing all of these products shortly.

Anyone see them in your drugstores?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I’m going to confess I’ve never even tried out Revlon’s Colorstay Whipped Foundation. D; I’ve always liked the Almay products I’ve tried, I just usually forget to wander far enough down the makeup isle to find Almay. The blushes do look interesting though, might have to pick one up!

Almay Smart Shade pressed powder is my Holy Grail of pressed powders. I often only need to use a little concealer and then the powder so I am dying to get my hands on that blush!

Be looking for your reviews. I love my beloved Revlon whipped foundation. This sure does look like a try on the whippped one. Hope it is a good one 😀
