Chanel Raffinement Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Chanel introduced the Raffinement Eyeshadow Quad with the new Printemps Precieux de Chanel Spring 2013 Collection. This is very a basic palette that creates a pretty, soft look.
I was surprised they decided to introduce this with their Spring Collection as the promo model appears to be wearing something considerably lighter but looking close enough they did create an eye look using these shades. If you work in an office environment you can get addicted to easy to use shades like this.
Take a look!
The Chanel Raffinement Eyeshadow Quad ($58) is made up of a mauve, pink beige, lilac, and eggplant.
I think at a glance the palette seems uneventful but it’s so versatile it’s easy to love after using it. The shades are timeless and can be used in many different everyday looks. If you’re more for vivid, bold shades I can picture a yawn but if you really like essential shades that will work easily in office or work related looks I’m positive Raffinement will earn an easy spot in your heart.
I love how the colors just go so well together. These mesh well and apply easily. There is no guess work here. You can easily create a contrasting eye look in moments. I love a quad that I don’t have to scratch my head over and go hmmmmm…”How do I create a look using this?” This is the type of color palette you can easily use without being a rocket scientist.
Colors are rich, apply easily, and blend smoothly. They have a rich color pay off and an excellent wear that stays true to color as when you first applied.
Although it lacks the super softness and delicateness you might associate with Spring colors it still proves a VERY wearable selection of shades that you’ll likely rich for again and again and again if you love basics.
Nice job on this one Chanel.
