Etude House Princess Etoinette for Holiday 2012

Etude House Princess Etoinette

This is a long overdue post about the Etude House Princess Etoinette Holiday 2012 Collection. It launched a few weeks ago in Korea and was instantly on my lemming list.

I quickly dialed up a friend in Korea to grab it for me but haven’t had a chance to yet review it. But I did want to share some of the promo images that Etude House posted on their blog.

Next week I hope to finally review it for you!

Take a peek!

It’s stunning isn’t it? I particularly love the blushes and powders. I think the blushes might be frosty sadly…but I’ll still love having them on my vanity! I wish the Crystal Shine Lips were available in better shades. Bright pinks do nada for me!

Anything you love?

It’s starting to pop up on E-bay now. Zinopark has much of it available although the prices are a tad scary compared to Korean retail (I’m not affiliated with this seller). He’s very friendly and quick to ship if you’re looking for a trust worthy seller.

Oh my god, this aesthetic!! //helpless flails

Is it wrong that I’m dying to get my hands on the Crystal Loose Powder, but have absolutely no intention of using the product itself? :P

    • 12/13/12 13:38 the Muse:

lol rae, story of my life, buy it, display it, never use it ;D

  • 12/13/12 13:36 Tammie:

Goodness gracious that’s cute @_@. The lipsticks seem sheer too, may have to pick one up.

    …I want everything…

    • 12/13/12 13:38 the Muse:

kinda meh on the lipsticks :( they always have cream moddy shades that just don’t work for me le sigh!

      • 12/13/12 13:40 Tammie:

        Yeah :X. I just think the bright pink, if it’s as sheer as it looks like might be a good pick-me-up for my lips…but it’s true the one Etude House lipstick I have never gets any use..soooo >.>;;

        • 12/13/12 13:42 the Muse:

that’s why I didn’t ask for those was a little scared I’d never use ‘em! some etude house lippies are really nice but they almost always come across cream, pigmented, and very mod old school on me. Learned my lesson after the last round of tangerine shades ;-D even though they swatched sheer I think I’ll avoid ;-D I did get all the rest! The candles smell good, was scared it would be the typical korean toilet paper scent lol! but it actually smells really nice!

          • 12/13/12 13:58 Tammie:

            Yeah better safe than sorry!

Haha that’s good to hear about the candles though, I know what you mean…many Asian things have a specific similar scent.

          • 12/13/12 14:09 the Muse:

            yeah :-/ Charmin TP lol!

  • 12/13/12 13:44 Elise:

Super cute, but what’s up with the model? Even for an Asian beauty brand, she seems a bit young. I kinda get what they were going for, but 10-year-old model + princess theme makes me think they’re straying into Disney target demographic here.

    • 12/13/12 13:51 the Muse:

etude house is marketed for younger girls Elise, I imagine they are trying to target that audience….

    • 12/13/12 13:59 Tammie:

      She looks to be at least in her teens, like 16+ I don’t think she looks like 10 at all @_@;;

      • 12/13/12 14:06 the Muse:

looks ;-D but she’s prob like 22 or something!

        • 12/13/12 14:07 Tammie:

I can certainly see 22! I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

          • 12/13/12 14:10 the Muse:

jill stuart has these models that look 14 meanwhile they are like 24 years old ;-D crazy!

  • 12/13/12 13:56 kiwikiwidragon:

Oi, those blush hearts are AWESOME!

    • 12/13/12 14:24 Tammie:

Yeah I am definitely getting the heart blush and highlighter when I can @_@. Adorable and when the blush is over I can still use the packaging.

      • 12/13/12 14:24 the Muse:

exactly! for powder or highlighter ;D

  • 12/13/12 14:17 elaine:

This collection looks absolutely divine! I think I just had a “must have this” urge just from the promo pics! Ahhh!!!

  • 12/13/12 14:26 Audrey C.:

It reminds me of the Les Merveilleuses de Laduree line, don’t you think? I love them! Eee, need to go scour the interwebs for buying times~

    • 12/13/12 14:26 the Muse:

      absolutely! but cheaper hehehehe ;-D

  • 12/13/12 15:13 Angela:

These are soooooooooo cute. Definitely be waiting for your reviews on them.

  • 12/13/12 15:28 Liz:

Gahh my inner child dies every time I see stuff like this because it reminds me of Sailor Moon!

  • 12/13/12 16:06 Fanny:

OMG I’ve been stalking this collection on their blog and Facebook for FOREVER! I LOVE EVERYTHING.

  • 12/13/12 16:18 OrangeLipstickBlog:

OMFG. The blush with the little conversation hearts?! That WILL be mine. I seriously don’t care how much it is. That is the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen.

  • 12/13/12 16:21 Lulle:

Kind of reminds me of Ladurée makeup line… Cheaper hopefully?

  • 12/13/12 16:38 Ella:

I got the loose powder and both blushes for Christmas. Had a quick peak at them all before they got wrapped up and put under the tree. They look gorgeous and the packaging is as nice as it looks in the pics.

  • 12/13/12 16:56 Tiffany Martin:

This line looks so adorable, did you guys see the Versailles nails yet? OMG SO AWESOME, I must have those.

    • 12/13/12 16:57 the Muse:

pics in the post of the nail sets ;-D

  • 12/13/12 17:04 Meg:

Ouch. Almost $40 on eBay for the heart blush. Think I’ll just stick to getting the nail polish sets.

  • 12/13/12 17:31 Anna:

oh my gosh that is the CUTEST make up set deal that I have EVER seen! It’s like make up for a princess! haha hopefully the quality is decent… I might look into buying that just because of how cute everything is.

  • 12/13/12 19:51 Icequeen81:

  • 12/13/12 20:11 Miss_Silk:

Oh dear…I know what I’m getting TT….there goes my wallet….at least price-wise…it’s not so bad. I like Jill Stuart packaging, but it’s just too expensive for me. I know I’ll be purchasing these because of the packaging lol

    “Happy Holidays~!”

    • 12/14/12 9:28 the Muse:

happy holidays miss silk ;-D yeah, this is def inexpensive when compared to jill stuart and just as pretty!

    This looks gorgeous!!!!

  • 12/14/12 6:42 Shadia L.:

Maaaan! Asian cosmetics are almost always super cute! You got me into certain Korean brands (namely Skin79 and Missha), but I’ve yet to try anything from Etude House, Holika Holika, Tony Moly, Baviphat, etc. It’s just such a hassle to get such products, and I’m wary of most online vendors. Oh, whyyyyyy do counterfeit cosmetics exist?!

    • 12/14/12 9:05 the Muse:

tell me about it :( I wish sasa sold more products they started selling Holika Holika but it’s very few items :(

      • 12/16/12 16:14 Shadia L.:

I know! I also hate the fact that prices are marked up pretty drastically in most authenticated shops. Grrrrrrr.

  • 12/14/12 10:19 K:

I have bought their nail polish set already! This collection is just lovely!

  • 12/14/12 10:27 Ronnie:

  • 12/15/12 6:56 Rosalina:

I love Asian cosmetics! Too bad we can’t get it at our local drugstores…sadness

  • 12/15/12 9:22 Angelina:

Gosh, the packaging of the blush is so pretty I’d be happy just seeing it on my vanity xD

  • 12/15/12 19:29 Karen S.:
