Etude House Princess Etoinette for Holiday 2012

This is a long overdue post about the Etude House Princess Etoinette Holiday 2012 Collection. It launched a few weeks ago in Korea and was instantly on my lemming list.

I quickly dialed up a friend in Korea to grab it for me but haven’t had a chance to yet review it. But I did want to share some of the promo images that Etude House posted on their blog.

Next week I hope to finally review it for you!

Take a peek!

The collection includes:

  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Tear Eye Liner
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Princess Hair Brush
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Lovely Princess Mirror
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Lovely Perfume Candle Trio
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Bubble Bath Bar
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Brush Collection
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Rose Brush
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Princess Pouch
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Versailles Nails
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Loose Powder
  • Etude House Princess Etoinette Heart Blusher

You can see more images on Etude House’s blog at blog.naver.com

It’s stunning isn’t it? I particularly love the blushes and powders. I think the blushes might be frosty sadly…but I’ll still love having them on my vanity! I wish the Crystal Shine Lips were available in better shades. Bright pinks do nada for me!

Anything you love?

It’s starting to pop up on E-bay now. Zinopark has much of it available although the prices are a tad scary compared to Korean retail (I’m not affiliated with this seller). He’s very friendly and quick to ship if you’re looking for a trust worthy seller.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh my god, this aesthetic!! //helpless flails

Is it wrong that I’m dying to get my hands on the Crystal Loose Powder, but have absolutely no intention of using the product itself? 😛

  • Tammie

Goodness gracious that’s cute @_@. The lipsticks seem sheer too, may have to pick one up.

    …I want everything…

    • the Muse

kinda meh on the lipsticks 🙁 they always have cream moddy shades that just don’t work for me le sigh!

      • Tammie

        Yeah :X. I just think the bright pink, if it’s as sheer as it looks like might be a good pick-me-up for my lips…but it’s true the one Etude House lipstick I have never gets any use..soooo >.>;;

        • the Muse

that’s why I didn’t ask for those was a little scared I’d never use ’em! some etude house lippies are really nice but they almost always come across cream, pigmented, and very mod old school on me. Learned my lesson after the last round of tangerine shades ;-D even though they swatched sheer I think I’ll avoid ;-D I did get all the rest! The candles smell good, was scared it would be the typical korean toilet paper scent lol! but it actually smells really nice!

          • Tammie

            Yeah better safe than sorry!

Haha that’s good to hear about the candles though, I know what you mean…many Asian things have a specific similar scent.

  • Elise

Super cute, but what’s up with the model? Even for an Asian beauty brand, she seems a bit young. I kinda get what they were going for, but 10-year-old model + princess theme makes me think they’re straying into Disney target demographic here.

    • the Muse

etude house is marketed for younger girls Elise, I imagine they are trying to target that audience….

    • Tammie

      She looks to be at least in her teens, like 16+ I don’t think she looks like 10 at all @_@;;

    • Tammie

Yeah I am definitely getting the heart blush and highlighter when I can @_@. Adorable and when the blush is over I can still use the packaging.

  • elaine

This collection looks absolutely divine! I think I just had a “must have this” urge just from the promo pics! Ahhh!!!

  • Audrey C.

It reminds me of the Les Merveilleuses de Laduree line, don’t you think? I love them! Eee, need to go scour the interwebs for buying times~

  • Liz

Gahh my inner child dies every time I see stuff like this because it reminds me of Sailor Moon!

  • Fanny

OMG I’ve been stalking this collection on their blog and Facebook for FOREVER! I LOVE EVERYTHING.

  • OrangeLipstickBlog

OMFG. The blush with the little conversation hearts?! That WILL be mine. I seriously don’t care how much it is. That is the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen.

  • Ella

I got the loose powder and both blushes for Christmas. Had a quick peak at them all before they got wrapped up and put under the tree. They look gorgeous and the packaging is as nice as it looks in the pics.

  • Tiffany Martin

This line looks so adorable, did you guys see the Versailles nails yet? OMG SO AWESOME, I must have those.

  • Meg

Ouch. Almost $40 on eBay for the heart blush. Think I’ll just stick to getting the nail polish sets.

  • Anna

oh my gosh that is the CUTEST make up set deal that I have EVER seen! It’s like make up for a princess! haha hopefully the quality is decent… I might look into buying that just because of how cute everything is.

  • Miss_Silk

Oh dear…I know what I’m getting TT….there goes my wallet….at least price-wise…it’s not so bad. I like Jill Stuart packaging, but it’s just too expensive for me. I know I’ll be purchasing these because of the packaging lol

    “Happy Holidays~!”

    • the Muse

happy holidays miss silk ;-D yeah, this is def inexpensive when compared to jill stuart and just as pretty!

  • TK

I love it all!!! Grrrrr…why don’t I live in South Korea?! I would just love to walk into an étude house one day, let alone buy their cutesy products! The blush would look lovely on my makeup table. This is a must have for me!

  • Denise

wants this. how come the eutde house nearby don’t have this yet? Can’t hold back in getting some of this.

  • Ashley

EEP! I want the whole collection. Too cute! It’s like the poor girls version of Laduree makeup ;P

  • Shadia L.

Maaaan! Asian cosmetics are almost always super cute! You got me into certain Korean brands (namely Skin79 and Missha), but I’ve yet to try anything from Etude House, Holika Holika, Tony Moly, Baviphat, etc. It’s just such a hassle to get such products, and I’m wary of most online vendors. Oh, whyyyyyy do counterfeit cosmetics exist?!

    • the Muse

tell me about it 🙁 I wish sasa sold more products they started selling Holika Holika but it’s very few items 🙁

      • Shadia L.

I know! I also hate the fact that prices are marked up pretty drastically in most authenticated shops. Grrrrrrr.

  • Rosalina

I love Asian cosmetics! Too bad we can’t get it at our local drugstores…sadness

  • Angelina

Gosh, the packaging of the blush is so pretty I’d be happy just seeing it on my vanity xD

  • Karen S.

oh my gosh you just made me want to go buy this entire collection <3 everything is too beautiful!

  • Snow

Thanks for posting this I love hearing about Asian cosmetics that are not available here. I’m heading over to eBay!

  • Karen
