Lumene Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover Review

I decided to pick up a back up of Lumene Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover since CVS has a buy $30 worth of Lumene and get $10 Bonus Bucks.

I can’t believe I never reviewed this before. I had to check back and make sure I didn’t but it appears I never posted about it before. How terrible of me!

Take a look!

As you know I’m always looking for budget eye makeup removers as I refuse to splurge on Lancome Bi-Facil. Love it, hate the price tag.

Lumene Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover is a bi-phase remover that effectively removes my eye makeup in a flash including waterproof mascara. Supposedly it’s an excellent pick for sensitive eyes as well (I don’t have sensitive eyes and had no issues). The formula is very gentle and leaves my eyes soft and makeup-free without cloudy vision.

A 3.4 oz bottle is around $7-$8 which isn’t too bad. Although I must say there are a few larger options available in this catagory for around the same price. However, I don’t mind the splurge considering CVS always has some great deals on Lumene products.

Def one worth looking into if you’re shopping budget waterproof eye makeup removers at the moment.

Loves!

I’ve heard some really good reviews in this makeup remover.

This is the one I have. It works fairly well, but doesn’t always get my bottom liner and leaves a bit of an oily residue on my eyes. When I run out of this one I’m getting the Sonia Kashuk kind because my friend has it and it’s FANTASTIC!

I hated it because the oily residue. I have very oily skin, so I could not even finished it and had to toss it. 🙁

Keep an eye out for CVS coupons. I was able to use a 5.00 off coupon to pick this up.

So very glad to hear good things about this product. I am almost out of my CVS neutrogena version, and have the Lumene waiting in the wings.

I keep trying to find ‘the perfect’ makeup remover to remove my waterproof mascara. I feel like no matter what, there’s still too much rubbing going on with my eyes. I’ll have to keep an eye out for this.

I have been very interested in this one but each time I go to CVS I always end up picking my Nuance by Salma Hayek Dual Phase Makeup Remover because it takes off my make up without leaving it feeling oily plus it moisturizes my eye area as well!
