Maybelline Instant Age Rewind The Lifter Foundation

Maybelline is introducing the new Instant Age Rewind The Lifter Foundation for Spring 2013. This kinda reminds me of Covergirl Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation.

Take a peek!

Instant Age Rewind The Lifter Foundation is Maybelline’s first-ever lifting foundation swirled with a smoothing primer in one easy to use pump for instantly firmer skin The smoothing primer, formulated with glycerin, retexturizes skin creating the perfect canvas for makeup The lifting foundation, formulated with peptides, fuses to the skin for a firmer, visibly lifted look instantly.

It’ll be available in 12 shades for $13.99 this January.

I’m unsure how I’ll do with this as Covergirl’s version had an unusual texture that I didn’t love. But looking forward to trying it.

What do you think?

Do you like Covergirl’s version?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I don’t really need a lift… but I’m still tempted to give it a try and to see if really makes a difference 🙂

I’ve never tried their foundations, but if this works, I think it could be worth trying!

I really like CG’s tone rehab. The texture is odd, kind of “buttery” for the lack of a better word. It does make my skin look super smooth though, blends like a dream, and looks great all day and really natural.. feels great too which is a big thing for me. Can’t stand when foundations break down and you get that icky “got to wash it off NOW” feeling. It’s very hydrating, yet does not break me out, or turn me into an oil slick.

I want it purely because it reminds me a little of the T-Virus (I’m such a gamer nerd :3 ). What was that Olay product that REALLY looked like the T-Virus?XD Need it purely for packaging.
