Missha 2012 F/W Feminine Grace Look Limited Lip Kit Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Missha 2012 F/W Feminine Grace Look Limited Lip Kit is the second set from the limited edition Two Faces of Beauty Lip Kits that Missha introduced for Fall 2012.

Unlike the Sensual Smoky Look Kit, this set is cooler in color selection with bright pink and red.

Take a look!

Both lip kits were created for Fall 2012 where expert makeup artist, Val Garland, graced the models lips with these collections during the Behnaz Sarafpour S/S 2013 Show during New York Fashion Week.

All the products in the set are limited edition with gorgeous rose gold packaging. The packaging is very elegant with a swirled floral design and casing. Although they look heavy they are actually very lightweight and made of plastic. Don’t let that sway you though, the packaging is still gorgeous and very vanity worthy.

The set includes:

  • Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge (bold crimson red)
  • Missha Signature Glam Art Gloss (rose red)
  • Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge Palette (selection of the most popular Glam Art Rouge Lipstick shades)

The other set I recently reviewed was more for fair to medium tones however, this set is pretty universal and particularly a great pick for those with darker skin. The color red they choose is one I’d typically pick for myself as it’s what I consider more of a true bold shade of red. This in fact kinda goes clown-y on me but with the added gloss it actually becomes VERY wearable.

Glam Art Rouse Lipstick is a cream finish so it did feel slightly try on me when I tried the nude, natural set however, this red shade I had no such issues with it. It’s lightweight, creamy, pigmented, and doesn’t feel or look drying on my lips. I always have a rather bad experience with cream finishes but there was no problems at all with this shade.

Glam Art Gloss is a fully opaque gloss with a shiny finish formula thats quite lightweight for something so pigmented.

The palette lipsticks are a tad dense in texture so a lip brush for application is key for application and a little gloss on top will go a long way to giving them the best finish as they are a little drying.

The set will make a beautiful gift for the Holidays. I didn’t love these shades as much as did the other set however, if you love true reds you should get on fabulously with this kit. It’s a limited edition but still very available on the Missha site and also on sale for $28.

You can grab it at www.misshaus.com

If you own it I’d love to hear your thoughts!
