Eagerly awaiting these! I’m amazed by the before and after photos. Maybe Physicians Formula will get it right with the BB creams because so far I have been very disappointed with the selection of American BB creams.

  • Carly

I have the BB Cream and it’s pretty much the only one at the drugstore level that isn’t crap.

  • oxana124

I just got these the other day at Rite Aid. One thing to be excited about is that the BB Cream is actually light-medium coverage, it is not like a tinted moisturizer and is thick and creamy, finally 🙂 The concealer is nice as well, and gives good heavy coverage. And the powder is excellent, it gives light coverage and is very smooth and creamy, and does not have shimmer but gives a nice and subtle healthy glow.

    • Natasha

The powder sounds amazing. I will definitely keep an eye out for these products and can’t wait to try them. Am also interested in the the Flower brand BB cream soon to be at Walmart — might already be there.

  • charlotte

Don’t believe the photos.. look at the neck/chest especially the last two.. obviously photoshopped.

  • Littlecreek

Shade selection worries me. Anything labeled as Light/Medium usually equates to something way too dark for me. Hopefully they get the formula right and I can just mix it with a BB cream I already have to make something the right shade. Here’s hoping!

    • Melissa

I had the same concern. A lot of “light” generalized shades are too dark for me. Can’t wait for more reviews on this.

    • oxana124

I usually wear lightest shade in their products, the Light in the Youthful Wear foundation(which I also really like) matches me well. But this BB Cream in Light/Medium was a bit too orange on me. If they had a Light and also a Medium that would be much better I think. I am making the color work for now, hoping it is not too obvious and I don’t look ridiculous 🙂

  • JoElla

Littlecreek, hopefully the color selection will be good. I always have a hard time color matching with PH.

  • Cj

I think these will probably turn out pretty good, sadly there’s no way a light/medium is gonna be the right shade for me lol ill need something like deadwhite/fairest 😛

    • Nikki

Hahaha!! Cj I would definitely buy dead white/fairest! Ph shades never match my pale skin.

    • amy

I’ve actually found PF foundatins to run on the lighter side. I’m paler than NC15, and every foundation I have has the word “ivory” or “porcelain” in the name. PF also tends to have very neutral tones, as well.

      • Littlecreek

Well that gives me hope Amy. I would really love to find a good drugstore BB cream and this seems like my best shot.

  • Iris

The results look promising and I like the SPF30. If light/medium works for me, I’ll definitely try it!

    • Adrienne

I was able to find these at my local CVS and they had a coupon on the front as well. Unfortunately even their “deepest” shade was too light for me. I understand the concept and that they are modeled after Asian BB Creams but the US is SO diverse that the shades need to extend beyond 2 to 3 shades to accomodate more people. The average person has to change their foundation atleast 2-3 times a year depending on winter/summer months anyways. I liked the texture and it was creamier and thicker but not oily like some of the other drug store brands just need more shades.

  • amy

At this point, I’m just hoping they’re talc- & paraben-free, as they sound promising.

  • Christina

The coverage looks a bit like their L.E. Velvet foundation, which sadly they only carry on their website. My mom used that foundation for over 20 years and looked like she was in her 60’s at nearly 80. Hope this will work like it shows in the before and afters.

  • christi

Those are some nice photoshopped photos lol. I wish they had a fair shade so I could try this! PF TM’s & Foundies r always too dark for me unfortunately.

  • Cathy

Can’t wait for these!!! Wonder what shade to get for nc30 would it be light medium or medium deep?

  • stephanie

I’m interested in the powder and the balm myself. my face has alot of imperfections that could use to be covered making it look brighter and more healthy.

  • Ashley

I’ve always liked Physician’s Formula products and I am in the hunt for a new BB cream, so this could be a great option. I started looking at Dr. Jart+ BB creams, but with so many options in that brand I can’t decide. Any tips?

  • Danii

Hopefully “light” translates to “fair” instead of “oompa loompa orange.” I tried a PF tinted moisturizer and it caused me gnarly break outs. On top of being ORANGE rather than anywhere near “light to natural.” Also hoping this doesn’t cause my more of those hideous break outs. Urgh… Hesitant to try or even touch.

    • victoria

the organic one? it did that to me too but i kept using it and my skin adjusted to it. ithink it seems better than this overrated one cuz they also have fair to light……..

  • GK

The packaging is beautiful & makes me want to give it a try. Unless I’m very lucky, Light/Medium will be way too dark for me. Most of the time even Fair is too dark, but fingers crossed, I’m always willing to try something new!

  • PS

As far as drug store brand goes. Maybeline’s BB cream is pretty good. Am curious to try this though, especially with the 30 SPF!

  • Lisha

this is the most amazing product I’ve ever seen! a bb cream that fixes moles, volumes hair, acts as a lip gloss, and rids of any front teeth gaps??!! I’m in 4 sure! 🙂

  • Keren

Wet N Wild’s coming out with a “Coverall Cream Foundation” but alot are saying that it’s more like a BB Cream. And all the shades are suppose to be really light!

  • Quinctia

If anyone could do it at the drugstore, I’d pick PF. But maybe that’s just because they’re still my go-to face powder maker after all these years.

  • Melissa

I just picked this one up and have it on today. I have the light/medium one and was a bit surprised how dark it was. (Like Amy, i think that the PF foundations tend to be light) So it will probably be too dark for really fair skin. I was afraid it would look too oompa-loompa-like on me at first, but was pleased with how it blended in, concealed freckles, and evened out my skin tone. It does go on creamy and does have decent coverage. (More so than the other US BB creams I have tried) I really like it.

  • Amy P

I picked up the BB powder in medium/deep. It’s a lovely match for my skin(I wear Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in #153). I especially love the texture. It’s creamy and smooth, and evens out my skin tone without making me look cakey. I’m going to try the concealer and the new bronze booster atomizer. It seems Physicians Formula is stepping up their game.

    • victoria

no way, their original products from years ago are a million times better 🙁

  • gray

I bought the BB powder yesterday. I really wanted to like this because I generally like PF but I hated it! It made my pores look huge and my skin looked oily immediately. Bummer.

    • Iris

Oh wow 🙁 That’s too bad. I thought the powder would be mattifying. I don’t think I’ll be trying it as I have oily skin.

  • Elsie

Maybe I am in the minority here, but for whatever reason, I don’t think the “after” photos were Photoshopped. For instance: in the second “after” pic, the gal had a pretty big zit in the “before” one, but you can almost see the circular outline of the concealer in the “after” pic in the same spot. And the lipstick and blush were probably only applied to complete the look they were trying to achieve.

    Just my .02 worth…

  • Rosie

Well I was very excited about the powder so I bought it. I really like the fact that it’s very light and blends well. My skin is usually soft and well hydrated. I don’t have acne or dark spots. I used the powder today and only after a few hours, my skin was very dry, the powder was looking very cackey and at the end of the day the skin of my face is red with even more red spots. Did anybody else have this issue? It’s the first time I try this brand but never had allergies before 🙁

  • Cindy

I recently purchased both the cream and the powder. I have very oily skin, so the cream did NOT work well for me (made me even greasier.) Also, I found the light/medium shade to run rather dark.
The powder, however, I am REALLY enjoying!!! It gives similar coverage and finish as the BE ready fdn, but much longer lasting and agreeable with my oilslick. And less than half the price doesn’t hurt, either!

    • the Muse

I really liked the powder too cindy however was not impressed with the BB Cream either :-/

  • Michelle

HI MUSE I WANTED TO ASK U ARE THESE PHYISICIANS FORMULA BB CREAM RANGE SHIMMER FREE?
