About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Saw this at Sephora already. Cute colors, drug store formula unfortunately. Tiny bottles, too. 🙁

    I am SO done with this NAKED rampage from Urban Decay. Neutrals are nice, but they’re beating a dead horse.

      I’m okay with UD building on this theme, as they were the ones who initiated the cult palette(s), but I’m finding the endless knock-off’s to be a bit annoying.

      • Little Miss Diamond

        Agreed, the knock-offs are just annoying as hell.
        I like the idea of the Naked nail polishes and they are certainly lovely colours! I just hope they don’t do Naked lipglosses next… or Naked blushes… or Naked anything… enough already!

        xo

          I think they already did glosses, but I wouldn’t mind blushes. I’m actually a big fan of good neutral blush, and I’m on a constant hunt for HG contour shades, as long as they aren’t über-shimmery glitter-bombs, LOL. Now that I really think about it, blushes would just “complete” the whole franchise…

            They also did naked blushes…hehe…seems like they a re making a lot of money with this naked thingy.

      you’re most welcome susan enjoy it let us all know how you like it when it arrives!

        Ok. Not so sure I’m impreased. I painted my nails and added top coat like I do with all my polishes. By the end of the day the polish was already chipping off the tips. The next day it looked awful. So the polish didnt make it a day. I used the colors creep and hustle. I’m trying smog out now and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that maybe it will impress me. The colors are very pigmented. It only takes one coat to get a full coverage with the darker shades. They dry quickly and set up nicely. I’m just hoping with better lasting power with the other colors.

    I think it’s a not. My nails are the one place I can go crazy, and neutrals defeat that

    I liked it better when UD packaged their nail sets in fancy little reusable makeup bags. I still haven’t turned my Apocalypse nail kit bag into a makeup bag but I can’t wait. I love the formula on Apocalypse set, Summer of Love and the second set they put out last Xmas worked well too. I’ll wait for a review (and a UD sale, haha) to pick these up.

    I’m such a re-re. I was looking at the nail polish thinking “These don’t like like naked shades at all…” thinking they were going to be nude. Then reading the names of the polishes did I realize they’re matches of eyeshadows. I feel so ST00PID D;

    I like them! Naked is my favorite palette. I am looking forward to seeing swatches.

    Late to this party but I love UD’s polish! Will definitely need this. 😉
