Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Concealer At HSN

Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Concealer

A little sneaky peek at Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Concealer is on HSN today.

You know me, I get terribly excited about concealer and this looks a treat!

Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Concealer ($24) is a new hydrating concealer that promises six hours of moisture with a unique moisturizing outer core surrounding a concealer that hides dark circles and diffuses the appearances of creases and lines.

Colors:

  • Light
  • Medium
  • Deep

I’m quite excited to give this a try….!

What do you think?

This is available now at HSN.com

P.S. Happy Weekend! Sorry but my “real work life” has been busy lately so the blog has suffered the last two days! But no worries I’ll be back Monday with new and exciting posts. I have the new Chanel CC Cream I’m finally going to review for you as well as a variety of BB Creams, new Spring color launches like the Glinda and Theodora palettes as well as MAC Archie’s Girls and the Laura Mercier Baked Eyeshadow Palette and a variety of other GREAT products.

P.S.S. Here’s the delicious BH Series 5 Trailer. 30 seconds of joy! Enjoy!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m definitely interested in this. I’m on the lookout for a more moisturizing concealer at the moment. I LOVE Benefit Boi-ing but it is just completely devoid of all moisture.

  • Tammie

I’m pretty curious about the concealer even though I don’t think it will work at all for me (under my eyes gets flaky but also gets really greasy so I need long wear stuff that most would consider dry) but I think you will like it!

we all understand that life gets in the way!

would love for you to review and swatch the new Air Buffed BB Crème Complete Coverage Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen. it launched on sephora.com today. looks interesting and not horribly prices (.98 oz for $39 with special buffing brush)

    • the Muse

aw thanks zoe! it sucks but it happens ;-D Yup, will be reviewing soon! promise 😀

  • Lauren

I’d love to try it, but Benefit’s concealers are never light enough for me.

  • Celine

It seems like the CoverGirl concealer stick has got a lot of good reviews (I have it too, and love it) So, I’m wondering if other companies are going to try and rival them because concealer sticks were never popular until recently. Just a thought.

I just found your blog and I CAN’T STOP READING IT! Love, love, love the huge variety of products you review. I hardly ever wear makeup but I’m a total skin care product freak. Your makeup reviews are making me seriously reconsider my habits though! This may be bad for my bank account balance.

Please don’t forget to review the Physician’s Formula products, the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil especially. I found most of the new collection but still waiting on your reviews before I actually go out and buy anything. Also, love your blog, longtime reader here (think years) lol Lots of love from Kuwait xx

  • Mary Beth

Hi! Just wanted to say that I love your blog! You keep me up to date — I know about launches before Sephora employees, thanks to your blog! Can’t wait to see the reviews! Where did you purchase Chanel CC cream?

    • the Muse

aw thank you SO much Mary Beth. I had a friend purchase it for me when it launched in Japan…hopefully it comes to the US soon!

  • Icaria

This is a concealer I’m quite intrigued by. Moisturizing with staying power almost sounds too good to be true. 🙂

  • Martha smith

Do u know when it will be available in stores ? Sephora ? Thanks 🙂

  • Laura

You know I just can’t find a concealor that doesn’t go into my fine lines making me older – so I look forward to this.

On HSN they were putting on over the foundation – I’ve always wondered, is it concealor first THEN foundation or vice versa. Muse, what do you do?

  • Juliezie

I ordered mine from HSN and just received it today! I ordered the “Light” because I am naturally very pale, but I do spray tan, so sometimes I can get away with more medium shades. First impressions: Life-changing! The BEST part of it is that it looks like a tinted moisturizer when you put it on, but covers like a concealer. This means I could put it on without any other makeup. Most other concealers are so thick or dry-looking, that they need to be paired with the rest of a made-up face or else it just looks wrong (on me!). I’m not sure how this will be with foundation or set with powder, but it definitely works for a no-makeup, makeup look. Not only do I look more awake, but I actually FEEL more awake because I’m so excited about it!

*For the record, I warmed it on my hand, then swept from inner corner and along my eye socket/cheek bone and blended up with my fingers. (this is how Benefit suggested applying it on HSN)

What is the difference between this and Erase Paste?
    I love my Erase Paste.

  • Traci

I didn’t grab this when HSN was offering it & now I have to wait until Feb 19th! I want it NOW. Need this in my life.

So wonderful to hear from Juliezie that it could be life changing!!

    Can’t wait!
