Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick Swatches

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks are my new best friends. These creamy eyeshadows just released for Spring 2013 in eight gorgeous shades and after a single swatch I’m in love!

There a bit pricey at $28 each but I have a funny feeling they are going to be so worth it.

I’m busy testing them out at the moment but I’ll review them soon!

Here’s some swatches.

Look how pigmented they are! Not only are they pigmented but super creamy as well. It promises eight hours of wear without creasing or fading, I hope that’s true. I’m absolutely in lust with all the shades. I miss MAC’s old Shadestick formula so I’m all about these. They’ll make an excellent wear alone eyeshadow or will easily look incredible all on their own or combined with another shade.

I think they prove easier to work with than Bobbi’s Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadows as you can just swipe them on, blend them out, and create beautiful looks in seconds.

Right now I’m in love with Vanilla. This is a flesh colored shade that can be used to lighten and brighten up lids. Everyone needs a shade like this in their beauty arsenal.

Shadow, Violet Plum, Golden Pink, Forest, Bark

Vanilla, Sand Dunes, Iced Blue

I loves!

Talk more soon about what I think of the wear, formula, etc…

Will you be picking any up?

They are available now at your fav Bobbi counter or online at bobbibrown.com

I hope they aren’t like the Stila ones…never was able to blend them! Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks on the other hand are fab!!

MUSE!!! AAAGGHH!!! Thank you for the swatches! I have had the grey and plum one in my nordstrom shopping basket ever since they came out but I have been waiting to see if you were going to review. At the price point I am still torn about purchasing until I see how the Clinique shadow sticks are swatched. I hope those are coming soon too but now I am def getting the grey and plum and maybe vanilla too!! LOVE em!

my pleasure! I’ll have a review hopefully late next week testing them now ;-D so far they are SO creamy, just wondering about the wear and def will swatch/review the clinique as well!

On a side note Muse, totally thought of you when doing my eye make up this a.m. as wearing Chocolate by Laura Mercier and I thought to myself – this is a Muse shade!

  • Agata

The blue one looks beautiful although I am usually not a fan of such shades.

Ahhh the Forest and the Golden Pink are fabulous! I’m always looking for nice colors to compliment my green eyes. But $28… yikes, that’s a bit steep for me…

  • Celine

Oh man, I was scared to look at the swatches because now I’m in love with the plum, grey, ice blue and golden pink! They are so expensive though for just being what they are.

  • LINDARRAGNAR

those look great and look so much more creamy than the mac shade stics I bought!!!!

I don’t need any more eyeshadows, but if I win the lottery….. 😉

  • May

OH- Forest looks gorgeous! Can’t wait for them to become available in my country. 🙂
    Thanks for the swatches, Muse!

  • Ruby

I loooove the blue even though I normally hate blue eyeshadow. Hopefully the spendy price tag will keep my fingers off!

  • Angela

I’m really interested in this collection, but I’m worried about the wear time as I have very oily lids. Definitely looking forward to your review on these.

  • Shamini (@kinogodt)

Ai.. I love them! They look really interesting, and I’m seriously looking forward to reading your review. Thanks for always being a doll on Twitter. 😉

  • Bonnie

Thanks so much for posting the swatches! Trying to decide which colors to try first and the colors are more true/easy to evaluate on your site. Thinking vanilla and shadow.

  • Kathleen

Shadow and Forest are calling my name… I have far too many champagne and purple shadow sticks in general and that blue looks too metallic to use all the time. I’ve been wanting the rose shimmer brick for a long time now, so I know next time Bobbi has a good gwp I’ll be picking them all up together!

  • Tiffany Martin

These are super pretty swatches, can’t wait for a full review (:

Wow that iced blue really packs a punch, almost blindingly blue! ^_^ Love it

  • Marianne

Wonder how the lighter colours compare to the new shades LM caviar sticks – have you had a chance to swatch them side by side? Love your blog BTW 🙂

    • the Muse

aw thanks marianne! I haven’t compared them side by side sorry 🙁 just testing right now on my eyes and such ;D

  • Brenda

I have 2 of the new Bobbi Brown cream sticks. I personally feel the LM caviar sticks are slightly better as far as wear time goes. Those things stay put and blend so well with the MAC 217 brush. The new LM caviar stick colors are gorgeous, especially gray pearl!
