Make Up For Ever Make Up Bag Remix Tour
You have to pretty confident in your brand to launch something as cool and brilliant as the new Make Up For Ever Make Up Bag Remix.
So what is the Make Up For Ever Make Up Bag Remix Tour you might be wondering?
It’s a mobile tour launching soon designed to bring education to consumers in an engaging way, teaching them how to actually do their own make up, not just have it applied. As part of the Make Up Bag Remix concept, Make Up For Ever’s team of professional artists will take a look inside consumers make up bags and teach them how to properly use what they already own, regardless of the brand, as well as overhaul products that are the wrong shade or texture.
How cool is that?
That’s right. Anything you already own and keep stock in your makeup bag you can bring to the mobile tour bus and have a Make Up For Ever cast member take a look through it and teach you how to use it correctly. Pretty darn nifty if you ask me! I’ll be bringing all my highlighters and stuffing them into my makeup bag and asking the nearest professional to please make me some kinda of expert at applying these and P.S. How about liquid liner? I SO need to perfect my cat eye!
The touch kicks off shortly in the following locations:

Consumers are invited to book appointments for 30 minute one-on-one make up bag evaluations inside the Make Up School, where a professional artist will go through their bag, provide an interactive, hands-on lesson explaining how to apply their products, and show them how to supplement what they already own to create their most flattering look. Each client will walk away with a new make up bag, a custom face chart detailing how to use the products they brought, and a list of any additional products recommended by the artist to round out their look. A professional photographer will also be on-site to capture each clients “after” look, which will be uploaded to an album on the Make Up For Ever Facebook page.
For those on-the-go with limited time, Make Up For Ever will have make up stations dedicated to quick lip and complexion touch ups featuring Pro Finish, the brands innovative new multi-use compact foundation launching in 2013.
Consumers can book appointments to secure a Make Up Bag Remix session beginning January 23rd by visiting Make Up For Ever’s Facebook Page. Sessions are available from 12:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am – 7:00pm on Sunday.
For the Make Up Bag Remix Tour, Make Up For Ever teamed up with actress Christina Ricci to help design a limited-edition Make Up For Ever Remix Make Up Bag that will debut on February 1st at the Make Up For Ever Make Up Bag Remix tours first stop in Los Angeles.
Created for the beauty maven-on-the-go, Riccis Make Up For Ever Remix Make Up Bag will feature black faux leather adorned with gunmetal studs, metallic silk screening, and a geometric motif that highlights the brands signature red lip – a personal favorite for Ricci.
“Were delighted to be working with Christina Ricci,” said JP McCary, General Manager of MAKE UP FOR EVER, The Americas. “We love that she is not afraid to experiment with make up both on and off the red carpet. Her classic, yet edgy style made her the perfect choice to design our Remix Make Up Bag, which we know will be coveted by fashionistas and beauty aficionados everywhere.”
“I loved collaborating with MAKE UP FOR EVER on a custom make up bag because I got to design something that actually holds everything I need on-the-go,” said Ricci. “My inspiration for the bag was hard rock meets couture, and I added a red lip motif to the geometric design since I love wearing red lipstick. Plus I thought it would add a fun pop of color.”
What do you think?
I think it’s rather an incredible idea to have a brand so willing to work with what you already OWN and show you, willingly, how to use those products.
Anyone have plans of possibly attending?
