Milani Color Statement Lipliner Review & Swatches

Milani Color Statement Lipliner

I’m not a lipliner girl to be honest but if I were the new Milani Color Statement Lipliners would be my best friend.

Available in eight shades for as little as $3.99 each these dense yet creamy textured liners are the perfect pair up for the new Milani Color Statement Lipstick!

Milani recently introduced these for Spring 2013 and they should be launching soon in stores but are available now on their website. If you’re looking for a lip pencil under five bucks this is an ideal pick!

I don’t typically use lipliner as I have a habit of chewing off my lipstick and gloss which leaves ring around the mouth. Ya know that unflattering look you get when your lipstick has worn away but NOT your lip liner!

It’s a good idea to indulge occasionally those as it extends the wear of your lipstick and keeps it from feathering.

Milani’s new lipliner is a traditional pencil design that can easily be sharpened (they have a new double sided sharpener as well for sale!) to a fine point. These have a fine, dense point yet the liner has a creamy texture that applies easily and evenly.

If you’re in a budget and a daily user of lipliner this fits the bill perfectly.

Thanks for the review. Any recommendations for a soft, automatic lip liner? I am not fond of sharpening pencils – always seems I have to sharpen at the last minute, when I’m already running late. I do like lip liner, particularly for the top of my lip which seems to be fading.

haven’t a clue sonia I rarely, RARELY use lipliner so I’m the worst person to ask for a rec ;-D maybe a reader will reply? ;D sorry!

Hey Sonia, the Rimmel Exaggerate automatic lip liners are awesome! Can’t remember the price, I’m thinking somewhere around 3-4 bucks. I have a red, pink, and a nude and those 3 seem to be perfect for any lipstick I decide to wear!

Those photos make me want to buy the nude liner even though I’m not a big fan of liners. Usually I don’t see the point because I don’t mind reapplying my lipstick, nor does my ls feather. I have 3 liners that I should really use up instead of wasting money on…

I am totally a lip liner kinda girl, I’ve got an embarrassing amount of NYX’s lip liners. I will most def check these out! A girl can never have to many lip liners ;]

If I use liner, I always line my lips and then fill them in with the liner too. That way no ring around the mouth!

I just avoid the ring thing and use clear lip liner, I’m so with you on the chewing my lips thing. I try to behave when I’m wearing lipstick or NYX’s Soft Matte lip creams (I loooooove them!) but it’s hard. I’m also too lazy to try to match my favorite red lipstick, NYX Round Lipstick in Electra, with a red pencil. The lip creams don’t need the pencil, because they stay put thankfully.

I bought this yesterday and am wearing it today! It is AMAZING! I haven’t tried a ton of lipliners, but this one deserves recommendation.
The store only had it in two colors though, the one reviewed above.
