NARS Seduction Blush Review & Swatches
NARS Blush in Seduction is part of the NARS Spring 2013 Collection. Described as a sangria shade this is one of those bold shades of color that tanned and darker skin tones will absolutely adore.
It’s a deep, rich red wine that packs quite a punch!
Take a peek!
NARS Seduction Blush ($28) doesn’t cut any corners with pigment. This one needs an ultra light hand to apply otherwise clown-y cheeks are on the horizon my dears. If you have darker complexion you’ll absolutely see color pay off from this shade and it will pop on tanned or caramel skin tones.
But no worries, I think it looks just as nice on medium skin as well. If you have some redness or ruddiness in your cheeks you def want to be sure to conceal these areas well as this color can make things look worst. A lighter hand and you’ll find it applies with a soft berry glow. It has a soft formula but the blush texture is a tad denser however, swiping a brush across it yields instant results so use a soft fibre brush or something with bushier bristles to maintain control over how muchh you apply.
The shade gives my cheeks a warm reddish hue that’s very flattering when combined with a smoky eye look. I found it a little challenging to work with due to my heavier hand however, armed with the right tools I was able to apply it sheer and with a little more intensity for a very nice glow. It contains a tiny bit of shimmer with a satiny finish that does apply a tad patchy if you aren’t careful, just prep well prior to applying and blend, blend, blend for the best finish!
If you’re looking for something bold this Spring, Seduction will prove it. It’s a unique shade of blush that packs a powerful punch!
