New Gadget Alert on the Cheap: Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Steamer Solutions Facial Device

I was planning on blogging the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Steamer Solutions Facial Device early this week but I got sidetracked. I know, do we really need another beauty tool in our lives? But the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Steamer Solutions Facial Device ($125) seemed like something I could really use this Winter considering my dry skin seems out of control at the moment.

This professional steamer delivers a constant flow of moisture for dry, dehydrated skin….but $125? Ouch!

I found a SUPER deal though if you have room in your life for a new gadget!

THis works with steam-fusion technology which simultaneously cleanses pores, exfoliates and hydrates skin. The steamer delivers a continuous facial treatment for up to 20 minutes, providing immediate and long-term results.

Benefits:

  • Infuses hydration
  • Promotes a clear complexion
  • Soothes and promotes relaxation
  • Enhances product penetration and accelerates results

It’s $125 and that seems a little too much to indulge at the moment however, it was actually featured on Good Morning America for a hell of a lot less.

You can get the steam plus Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Extra Strength Alpha Beta Peel (30 Application Packettes) for $98 dollars! This is normally a $213 deal.

I went ahead and ordered. I need a new gadget in my life like a hole in my head but I couldn’t resist.

Just visit gma.yahoo.com to take advantage of the offer! Or you can try visiting www.dgskincare.com directly (the deal should pop up right away).

Happy Haulin’!

I’ll review mine when it arrives!

At first I thought this was a food processor or something… haha. Hope it helps with your dry skin!

    • the Muse

LOL me too! I never owned a steamer so kinda hopeful it’ll be life changing ;-D

    • Cj

      That’s exactly what’s I thought! I’m like why is Muse posting about a food chopper…. :p

      • the Muse

hehehehehehehe! It really doesn’t look like a blender or food processor of some sort ;-D

  • K.B.

OMG want! (Even though I won’t buy it because it’s $125 and I won’t ever use it.)

  • Heather N King

That’s so cool! Back in my addicted-to-going-to-the-gym days, I would always sit in the steam room after my workout. Regular steaming really does wonders for your complexion. I can’t wait to read your review!

  • Diane

You will love this. I have a steamer for my hair and it has a facial attachment likemthis. Been using it a few times a week this winter and its helped me skin feel softer and not be as dry! Enjoy it!

    • the Muse

thank you thank you ;-D I’m happy to hear that wasn’t sure I should be dishing out for a steamer lol!

  • Cj

Btw you can totally pick up a conair facial steamer at cvs for like 20$… It probably won’t be as good quality as this one but its something to think about

          • Cj

Rofl I already got one of those 😀 if it helps you can always have an… accident with your current clarisonic so you’d have incentive to buy a new one 😀

          • the Muse

yeah but than aria will release in new colors and I’d have to have an accident with that LOL!

          • Cj

and that is what we call a series of unfortunate events…

At the fancy eco spas they just fill a bowl of hot water with a few drops of smell good oils (lavender, peppermint, rose, etc.) and put it under your face. When they want to be extra fancy the water is in a glorified pot with a mini electric burner under it set to low. If gadgets don’t work, just MacGuyver stuff from your kitchen!

I actually use the steam for my asthma or when I can’t breathe through my nose when I’m sick. The face moisturizing is a side benefit.

have you tried using a cream cleanser muse? my skin was really dry a month or so ago with the weather change but once i switched to a cream cleanser and only cleansed my face once a day (usually at night when i remove my makeup) it was loads better. i only splash my face with water in the morning, no cleanser at all. then i apply the coconut cream moisturizer and it stopped the dryness. don’t know if i’m allowed to post a link directly to the moisturizer…if not, i’ll email it to u

    • the Muse

hi blue, I use a collagen cleanser (cream) in the AM and an oil cleanser in the evening…I just have to be diligent about exfoliating at least twice a week and making sure to use a few facial masks and this really helps keeps my skin from becoming too dry/lackluster. 😀

      • blue

chemical exfoliant or manual exfoliant? have u tried mandelic acid exfoliant muse?

        • the Muse

manual exfoliant at the moment but from time to time switch out and use bliss’s AH pads or philosophy’s version. always feel like I don’t see the same results when using a chemical peel versus good old fashion scrub. no haven’t used that. success?

          • blue

surprisingly, yes. its more gentle than other AHA’s i’ve tried. it tingles a bit when i put it on but it doesn’t burn.

          • the Muse

thanks for the rec maybe will try in the future ;-D I always feel odd about aha…sometimes I like sometimes I feel like a good old scrub just works better ;-D

  • Audrey C.

That thing looks enormous! I barely have room for a Clarisonic in my bathroom, I don’t even know where I’d put that thing. o_O

    • the Muse

LOL! true…my bathrooms are already stocked full of other rubbish! do I really NEED more!?

  • BLee

Ill take it if it washes the dishes too. LOL 😀 But I will be look for your review, Muse.

  • Sal Z

I actually got my DDGSC Steamer a few weeks ago, this steamer is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! It leaves my skin so moist & dewy it is like I just had a full facial at a spa! I use it like this:

    Cleanse

    Steam (5-20 Minutes)

Treatment (I happen to use the DDGSC Alpha Beta Peels)

    Serum

    Moisturizer

And my Skin has never looked better!

  • goddesslily

Just to think all this time I was using my little ole tea kettle to steam my little ole face!

  • Courtney

I ordered it, too!! Plus, LOVE those peel pads. I’m hoping this combo will take my complexion to the next level!;)

    • the Muse

yay! I can’t wait to get it ;-D update me how you like it when it arrives!

  • Shadia L.

Gosh, this sounds incredibly tempting… I’m just a bit confused about conflicting advice I’ve seen and read from various skin experts and dermatologists; some recommend steaming the face, while others adamantly state that steaming is a no-no. What the hell?!

    • the Muse

same here shadia some say it is great others say no…appears that it isn’t great for acne prone skin but for everyone else it is fine…that’s from what I read but I’m no expert ;-D

  • Sal Z

Actually for acne prone skin this Steamer has an OZONE switch which is specifically designed for congested skin!!! It is a MIRACLE!

  • Lori

Hi Muse! How have you been enjoying your steamer? Your review is going to help me decide whether or not to purchase.

    • the Muse

hi lori still testing it out 🙂 so far so good, review is upcoming soon!

      • Chelsea

It’s been so looong. Please review! LOL! There isn’t much on the internet about it review wise. I’d love to read about your experience.

  • Alyssa

Hey Muse, do you think you would be able to post a review for this now? With the sephora Chic Week, I just started looking at this but no one is talking about it! Plus they just created a set that includes this so any information would be amazing!

    • Isabella Muse

hi alyssa I’ll try to get to, been a busy week here and hasn’t even started 🙂 but will do my best!
