Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid Powered Contour Cleansing System A Closer Look

Olay Fresh Effects Powered Contour Cleansing System is a new little (I stress little) battery operated power cleanser available at drugstores for Spring 2013.

This budget friendly cleansing tool is a mere $14.99 and comes with a mini Olay’s new Fresh Effects Shine, Shine Go Away Cleanser.

Here’s a closer look!

This a cleansing brush with a triangle head that fits the harder to reach contours of your face like around your nose and hairline. Simply add cleanser, turn it on, and the unit begins to pulsate allowing for a supposedly deeper clean.

I was shocked how tiny it was, about the size of a lipstick. However, it does have some power behind it when you turn it on. I think it’s possibly just another gimmicky gadget cleanser that hopes to to appeal to the budget world for those not willing to dish out on an extra expensive Clarisonic.

Who knows..could prove awesome for blackheads in and around the nose area.

I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll report back when I do.

It’s available now at drugstores.

If you tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

P.S. Have you met Candy and Courtney? They are the stars of the new Storage Wars New York Series and absolute genius in my opinion. Why? These two girls have a van and a vintage pop up shop on the go…how freaking brilliant is that? Marketing geniuses.

I mean I’ve run into food trucks a plenty but how many vintage clothing trucks are around?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I bought this on Friday and I must say its actually a pretty good tool. I have very dry, flaky skin, even on my eyelids, and after one use, all of the dead flaky skin on my fave was gone. I I did use a different cleanser because I have to use one formulated for dry skin. After toning and moisturizing my face felt awesome and so clean. And this is after one use! At this price point it definitely won’t hurtto try it.
