Revlon Colorstay Timeless Perfection Concealer for Spring 2013

Revlon Colorstay Timeless Perfection Concealer

Revlon has released a new Colorstay Timeless Perfection Concealer that promises 24 hours wear. Why you’d need your concealer to last that long is beyond me but to each his/her own.

Revlon Colorstay Timeless Perfection 24HR Wear Concealer is available in five shades on new displays but I imagine when they join the permanent collection Revlon will extend the shade selection.

Benefits:

  • Covers imperfections
  • Conceals blemishes and dark circles
  • Full undetectable coverage

I purchased and tried a shade and will review for you shortly. So far I’m disappointed. It’ll make a great facial concealer but under eyes it seems terribly dry to me. I typically use concealer under my eyes only so I look for a hydrating formula that won’t crease or dry my already dry eyes out further. This proves pigmented enough but will work more as a blemish or facial concealer not as an under eye one.

I have to test a bit more though before I make my final decision.

Tried it already?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Sorry about the blurry pictures. I had a stalker CVS employee trailing me. I guess she wasn’t loving me whipping out my phone and photographing everything.

I love long wear concealers (sure, they don’t really stay on 24-hours, but at least they keep my icky spots hidden most of the day) but as usual with drug-store brands, this one seems like color will be an issue for us pale gals. Oh well, maybe next time.

i have oily skin and concealing my acne dark spots is a pain to keep it on throughout the day..so i’m intrigued..but i’m so golden that color selection might make me a wee bit nervous hahaha..

I love and use the whipped foundation just about daily so I can only hope this is a great add on to the full face and all is covered up LOL :) Those darn circles and red spots here and there. And whats with those CVS people? You are only making sure the news is out and making them a paycheck? Yes?
