Stila Lip Glaze Trio Flower Power & Awesome Blossom for Spring 2013

Lip Glaze fans gather around as Stila Lip Glaze Trios are a coming for Spring 2013. I personally don’t get tired of trios. It’s a good excuse for me to add to my growing, possible end of the world stash of lip glazes. I love the formula so much and have accumulated so many shades thanks to Holiday and Trio Sets we all can partake should the zombie plague hit and Stila stops mass producing Lip Glaze.

God forbid.

Ok, ok I know you hate the applicator….some of us dig it *raises hand* and others feel like it’s a disgusting way to house lipgloss. But either way props to the formula that always wears long, gives just the right amount of color, and remains pleasantly comfortable through the wear.

So lovers of Liplaze unite and possibly indulge in two new trios for Spring.

Can’t confirm shades on either set yet but all include Spring floral inspired shades.

I hear the whisper of a possible Valentine’s Day Powder Blush coming too…..I hope…I cross my fingers…..I’ll buy it as soon as it pops up…hurry now Stila hurry!

P.S. Thank the makeup gods it appears I’ll be saving money on these as I just can’t do lilac lipgloss! So not into the pastels!

These are available now at Ulta.com for $12 each!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love lilac glosses, and I do love glaze packaging. So i’ll likely pick one up, especially if I am in Urban Outfitters and they have them.

I ADORE IT because we don’t have Sephora or Ulta or MAC. Our Macys has Clinique and Lancome counters.

A new cute boutique just opened that has The Balm and Blinc plus a few mineral brands I know nothing about. That helps. Because really it’s a college town, in the midwest with about 100,000 people. We could totally support a sephora (our jc penneys closed before they started putting them in those).

I’m scared of lilac, how does that even work? New trend for spring?

The applicator is actually *more* hygienic than “traditional” gloss packaging, as you’re not sticking the applicator directly into the (wet) product, thus contaminating the entire contents of the tube. Besides, you can always wipe down the applicator directly after use, which I actually do. This is the only sort of gloss applicator I actually will use directly on my lips; with glosses that have doe-foot applicators, I actually use a separate lip brush.

I’m waiting to see these in person, although I don’t typically go for pastels. However, at $12 a trio, even if there’s one shade I don’t like, it’s still a good deal. I’m thinking of the Awesome Blossoms trio; the left & middle shades look like they may work, but I’m not loving the peachy one, unless it’s sheer.

Those are totally unworkable colors for my pale yellow skin tone. I wish they did one set with more dusty pinks/beigey tones.
