Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder for Spring 2013

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder

Did you loved Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer? Well now you there’s Too Faced Primed & Poreless Press Powder releasing for Spring 2013.

Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder turns any foundation into high definition makeup….how?

Let’s see!

Too Faced’s new silky, translucent finishing veil adjusts to any skin tone while minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines in the form of a weightless powder which can be worn alone, under or over your favorite foundation. It controls shine, locks down makeup, and perfect skin with an airbrushed finish. The reflective powder technology visually minimizes pores, fine lines, and perfects with a universally flattering shade that adapts to many tones.

The formula is fragrance, talc, oil, and paraben-free.

Sounds intriguing and may be my next WANT after falling so deeply in lust with NARS new Reflecting Powder.

Could it be a similiar formula?

Available now at Ulta.com

P.S. I watched The Following super late last night and loved it. God Kevin Bacon and his HAWT smoker’s voice. Nom! He always sounds like he just woke up and just got out of bed. Hopefully it sticks around for a season (it feels like we live in such a disposable TV series time lately with shows being canceled left and right), likey so far. Anyone see it?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I am Very Upset right now because I have the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Powder in Loose form and it can get so messy at times and Although they didn’t change the price I wish it was in this form to begin with. It’s tempting me to buy this product due to the different formulation as well because the loose powder while being messy, it still performs quite well, so I would like to feel the quality and to see/feel if it’s better than the original loose powder form.

Wow! What a Big Contradiction, I just went to Ulta.com Website link and While Too Faced states The formula is fragrance, TALC, oil, and paraben-free, if you choose to go to the Ingredients section on the site the FIRST ingredient is in Fact TALC!<<< Not a good or honest way to sell a product in my opinion.

    • the Muse

don’t always go by what Ulta lists, sometimes they are wrong Maria….! I find they sometimes post color info wrong, facts about product, etc….:)

      • Rachel

The Too Faced website lists a different set of ingredients that doesn’t have Talc. Also, I’m curious to see how this compares with other pressed powders.

          • the Muse

think they use a template from old entries when they upload new stuff and sometimes the ingreds/details are wrong because of that :-/

Muse Muse Muse Muse! I’m still trying to tofu gee out if I like the nars loose powder or not, I don’t think it’s as amazing as you said the pressed was but its still really nice… I guess I was just expecting more, speaking of expecting more have you seen the bobbi brown perfecting powders? I ordered peach and the jar that came was super super tiny! It looked like a sample jar I thought they sent me it wrong but apparently that’s the full size. I ended up returning it. Totally not worth that much money for barely any product. And I ordered the nars pressed from sephora so I’m hoping ill like that more than the loose

    • the Muse

I haven’t tried loose format yet *hangs head in shame* and yeah the size of those really shocked me too, I’m testing them this week but my skin is super dry so kinda jumping around it a little ;-D can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the pressed!

  • Barb

powder looks amazing… as for kevin bacon i only see Footloose and his crazy dancing hahaha and horrible sound track

    • the Muse

oh come on that was amazingballs ;-D lol I heard he had a dancer double though!

  • Stephanie

    Yup, new lemming…

Too bad the Sephoras in my city are chronically understocked (I’ve been trying to buy the Urban Decay Naked Skin in my colour for literally a month and a half now) and generally behind on product releases compared to the U.S. Oh well. Soon!

  • blueraccoon

Too many new powders coming out, omg. I want the NARS reflecting powder, and I’m still thinking about the new Bobbi Brown powder, plus now BB has a brightening powder that looks interesting (it may be an old product repromote, I don’t know), and now this…*sigh*

  • Ruth

the following was awesome! Joe created a huge network of people to infiltrate his wife’s life was crazy! and the couple next door to the doctor? what was that? It has awesome twists and turns; once one thing is thought to be solved, something blows up bigger. I’m a fan. It made me laugh when kevin bacon’s tie was crooked and all i could think of was, “Let’s dance!!”

    • the Muse

agreed! can’t wait for this week’s eppy! I watched it around 2am, dead tired, but couldn’t not watch it all ;-D LOL..ditto! you can’t NOT think of him as a dancer ;-D he was on howard stern and mentioned that anytime he is at a wedding they play the song and it drives him nuts!

      • Ruth

It sucked you in! Do you remember that ep of will & grace where he played himself and had footloose turn on when he clapped?

          • Ruth

if you ever get around to watching W&G, it’s hilarious! their two sidekicks were the best and really made the show.

          • the Muse

will catch up ;-D I imagine it is on netflix or amazon prime or something ;-D

  • katie

Are you going to review this? Would love to know your thoughts and how it compares to the nars. You know I don’t make a purchase unless it is Muse approved!

  • Kiss & Make-up

Looks very interesring, I’d love to see and hear more from this product!

  • Susan

I have also used the loose form. Loved the way it looked but hated the mess. Might have to try this.

  • Ginni

Unfortunately the new Primed & Poreless pressed powder is not talc-free; it’s the first ingredient listed on the box!!! I’m still going to try it as I love the loose version.

  • cindy

This pressed powder version is gonna be awesome.
Oh and my whole household LOVES “The Following” too! It better stick around! Its an intriguing and very crazy show(which rocks in my book)
It kinda makes me think about the weird (still around followers) of the psycho Charles Manson…..yikes. ( and since you like this show you may also like our other favorite shows The Walking Dead and Hell On Wheels(comes back on soon and is usually on right after Walking Dead)

    • the Muse

lol yeah true that ;-D it does remind me of the manson family groupies ;-D I watch walking dead already but never heard of hell on wheels have to google that

  • PR

    Musee!! 🙂
Hi! I have a question please help me!! T__T

When i tried my first powder last year I directly went to MAC, having heard magic things about the prep+prime powder, and i took the pressed one, cause i had never used a powder before so i figured that would have been easier to use.
ANd it was indeed easy to use, but then i went on a trip and my pressed powder was completely destroyed. I now have all these pieces in the box, and the pressed is slowly becoming loose xD
Only difference is that that kind of box, thought for a pressed powder, makes keeping all the pieces inside very hard T.T
every time i open im in fear ç__ç

So i was wondering if i shouldnt jump to a loose powder, since i travel A LOT for study and i don’t wanna end up again with the “pressedloose powder pieces in the tiny box”
Can you tell me if the difference is just a matter of what the user is most confortable with? Or is there some difference to what a loose or a pressed powder does to your skin?

And last: If i decide to jump to Loose, do you think TooFaced primed and poreless is better than prep+prime from MAC?
My sister has the too faced so i used both on the different sides of my face (hahah i know i sound crazy XD), cause i rly wanted to find which one was better.. but so far i dont see that much difference

    WIll you please help me?

    Thank you so much
also sorry for the terribly long message and the poor english (im not a native speaker) ç_ç
Bye waiting for your relpy <3

pr using pressed versus loose doesn’t have any skin benefits outside of what you prefer using, how you look best after application, and which works better to mattify your skin. It isn’t really a difference between the products as both perform the same function. Prep and Prime is more moisturizing verus Too Faced which is more of a silicone formula. Hope this helps! good luck!
