Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Perfect Pout Lip Color Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Perfect Pout Lipstick

Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Perfect Pout Lip Color is a new ten shade lipstick selection ($3.49) available exclusively at Walgreens with the new Fergie Centerstage Collection that launched for Spring 2013.

I recently tried out the single shade I had and decided to review it today!

I’ve been using this shade on and off for two weeks in the hopes I’d end up liking it. The formula kinda reminds me of Mega Last Lip Color just at a higher price tag.

They market the lipstick formula as one that glides on buttery-soft for a smooth, moist-looking pout. The formula contains Vitamin E, Amino Acids, Avocado Oil, and Rice Bran Oil that promises moisturize and condition with an SPF 15.

Sounds heavenly but the reality is the product is terrible dry. About the only thing I found to rave here was the full coverage the lipstick provides. It has a very nice pigmentation that provides opaque coverage in the single shade I tried, Bebot Love. Personally I felt the satin finish was drying, as in suck the moisture from your lips dry. It also settled very heavily on my lips making for an unnatural finish that looked less than smooth. A little clear gloss on top really aids the lipstick along and makes for a better wear but regardless it’s still quite a heavy feel.

Overall, Wet n Wild has some really great budget finds but so far the Fergie Centerstage Collection proves some of the worst products I’ve tried from the brand. This lipstick was dry with an unnatural and heavy feel on my lips that I found utterly unforgivable.

Not a good pick.

Too bad you don’t like the dryness, it looks AMAZING on you, absolutely looks glossy in the pic too >_<

clear gloss on top ;-D hehe and thanks tiffany! like the shade but not the dryness 🙁

  • Marina

It looks so nice on you! I love these lipsticks, except for D-Vinely Chilled(too dry and sparkly). I found my HG nude (or closest I have been able to find) in this collection, Fergie Daily 🙂

aw thanks marina! must check out fergie daily but the formula kinda turns me off 🙁

  • Jennie

I got one of these in the Ferguson Crest Cabernet shade and I didn’t find it drying. I absolutely love the color too!

    I want to ask…does this product smell for you? I swear…every time I apply Bebot, it just stinks like crazy. I like the lipstick, its not super bad, but the ones I have…JUST SMELL BAD O__O;;;

I’m just getting into lipstick more and the Fergie Daily and Ferguson Crest were the first two lipsticks I’ve purchased in a long time. I really love the shades, but agree the lighter ones look a bit unnatural. I do a neutral lip liner and a bit of gloss to make the lip more 3D when using Daily. I love the color in Ferguson Crest as its a very pretty berry on my pale skin.

What would you recommend at that price point (less than $5) that you feel is a better lipstick for me to check out?

Milani statement lipstick melissa, completely color saturated, gorgeous shade selection, stunning texture….! plenty of variety of shades, MUCH nicer than these imho! review is coming up tonight actually ;D

You need to put a balm first then apply the lipstick, it does wonders and the lippie glides right on so beautifully.

Weird–I bought Bebot Love and mine is a peachy Bardot nude! I like yours better!

I agree with you that it is a bit dry. 🙁

it’s prob mine ;-D I live in an older victorian (over 100 years) and natural sunlight just doesn’t want to make its way into my windows ;-D

I bought the Fergie Daily – and I know you aren’t a fan of nude shades – but I LOVE it! Perfect with a dark smokey eye, and I really like the formula too. It’s been along time since I like a lipstick.

I HAD to get Bebot Love for myself, my sister and my cousin! I don’t see too many shade names that are in Tagalog, haha! 🙂
