Wet n Wild Take the Day Eyeshadow Primer for Spring 2013

Here’s just a little sneaky peek of the new Wet n Wild Take the Day Eyeshadow Primer that has launched with the new Fergie Centerstage Collection for Spring 2013.

This is a cream eyeshadow primer in a transparent nude shade that promises to brighten lids as it preps and primes them for guarantee long lasting results that prevents shadows from creasing and fading through the wear.

I’m kinda sorta hunting for a new eyeshadow primer so I’m def excited to try this out. Could prove great and the budget pricing wouldn’t hurt either if it does work out in my favor.

Will be testing it this week and get back to you with results.

Anyone try it?

I hope it works well. My Too Faced one works but I’m tired of it always separating, even when it was new.

ugh that’s my biggest pet peeve with too faced primer, I never use it b/c of this, plus always feel greasy!

I thought it was just mine…I was starting to think that maybe it was just old and I needed to get another one. Thanks

I bought this at Walgreens last week and love it!! It’s slightly thinner, but I love the texture. Smooth, and not drying. I wear cream shadows, but always apply a primer, and today I applied my shadow about 5 am, and at 9 it still looked fab! Seriously!! I am ping back to haul more. It just looks really good and feels great, and the price is nice! Love your blog! Thanks for bringing us all kinds of BEAUTYful info!! Xx Oh, and feel better soon. 🙂

I look forward to your review!!

I was an eye primer snob until NYX took it’s place as my daily primer. It works so well, just as well as UDPP, and my lids can be massively oily.
I needed a long lasting look the other day and used the NYX under a Tarte cream shadow stick with a little powder shadow in the outer-V. That sh*t was practically bulletproof!!

I’ll be looking for a good inexpensive replacement when I get through it 🙂

Really nice primer. Sort of a cross between TFSS and UDPP.. it starts out thin and slippery, then dries to a matte and slightly tacky finish, just enough so there is no slipperiness but not so much that shadow is hard to blend. I’ve been wearing it about a week straight. Just the tiniest drop covers your eye. The only complaint is that it is so thin it tries to come out of the tube by itself if it is warm. Love the cap, it has a little ridge at the top that makes it very easy to hold and the nozzle is super small so no waste. Unfortunately I can’t vouch 100% for the performance because I use MOM underneath my primer which makes pretty much all of them fantastic… except for TFSS, which I hate lol, might as well just slap some vaseline on.

This primer is a great budget find. I used to swear by TFSS, but this is better IMHO.

Charlotte’s review is spot on. It does dry a bit on the tacky side, and that was a surprise for me. I only had a bit of separation when I first opened the tube.

    Love the cap, too!

ANOTHER thing I need to look for! I saw a new (I think?) WnW mascara set yesterday at Walgreens – it was a white and aqua tube with a second similarly colored tube – I didn’t get a chance to really look at it to see what it was – if it was a 2nd tube of mascara or what.. I didn’t see this primer, but I’m on the prowl for it now! 🙂

I am SO excited to see what u think of this! I’ve seen such amazing reviews of blogs, and makeup alley! 100% would buy again! Say what?!

Anyway, if it gets your approval, it will be mine!

I wonder how it compares to the Milani one. I was going to buy that one until I saw this new primer. Has anyone tried both?

All my local Walgreens have it in the permanent display now.
