Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream Launches at Drugstores

Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream

Aveeno is set to release a Clear Complexion BB Cream for Spring 2013 in drugstores. Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream will be available in two shade selections, Fair to Light and Medium to Dark, for $16.99.

Aveeno already has a tinted moisturizer of sorts in their general catalog (I’ve never tried it but it seems interesting) so I’m unsure if they simply renamed that TM or if this is a brand new product.

I think $16.99 is a tad expensive but I’m still quite interested in purchasing. I suspect it’ll be very sheer and even if it is I think it might just be a nice tinted moisturizer formula none the less.

I’m quite eager to check it out.

Which BB Creams at the drugstore have wow’ed you lately?

Any?

I’m interested, I think – if it’s part of their clear complexion line it might be good for us oily-skinned folks. I can hope, right?

Also, I am fairly confident this is not a rebranding of their TM. I saw this in my drugstores (Target, Rite Aid) alongside their old TM, so I think they are selling both.

i am too bettie, quite curious about this! very hopeful it isn’t rebranded, a few folks mentioned that they said they saw it with the old TM as well curious minds I think I’ll haul both 😉 to compare!

This product intrigues me. Although I agree with the $16.99 price tag being a bit expensive for a drug store product. I’ve tried the Aveeno tinted moisturizer, but my eczema was not a fan of it. But being the beauty junkie I am, I’m sure I will suck it up and try their new BB cream anyway =)

The Covergirl and Loreal ones I’ve tried samples of oxidize horribly on me. It’d be nice if they didn’t oxidize to oopaorange.

I might buy this when my current aveeno moisturizer runs out. I’m interested in a decent tinted moisturizer and having spf of 30 is probably better than the 15 I’m currently wearing. (Well it will be when summer rolls around and I’ll be dealing with way too much sunlight.)

I’ve tried their tinted moisturizer and it made my oily skin SUPER oily! I’d almost be scared to try this just because of how bad the other one was for me.

Interesting! I’ve had good luck with other Aveeno products, so I’ll probably give it a try. Hopefully it’ll have a beefier formula like Lumene’s bb cream!

I just bought this at Walmart today! It was about 14 dollars and some change, so either Walmart is selling it cheaper or that price is a bit off. Still slightly more expensive than I would have liked, but I’ve been looking for a BB cream for a while.

  • Elizabeth

Looking forward to your review on this. Expecting my first order of any BB cream to arrive tomorrow. I ordered the Lumene one. Returned the Flower BB cream to Walmart as it was too yellow and streaky for my taste. I hope the Lumene BB cream works for me..as I really like the Lumene products I have newly been using.

Please do a review on this product with swatches! I am so interested in your opinion in this specific product. I love your review!!

hi natalie haven’t had success tracking it down sadly but will when I do 🙂

I saw it in Rite Aid the other day. I’m still quite happy with the Lumene, but might try this if you like it.

I’ve been using the “regular” TM for the last few weeks, and I’m very fond of it. As for coverage, I think it does an amazing job, it doesn’t oxidize, and it’s actually light enough for my pale skin. I’m looking forward to trying this, as well.

I’m curious but I’ve never tried anything from Aveeno. $16.99 is expensive, but I do spend about $13 and some change for my Neutrogena skin clearing liquid foundie (it works for me and the little jar lasts very long in my opinion). I don’t even know if the skin clearing line works for anyone though.

MUSE, I have this for Fair/Light, and seriously, it’s the only American BB cream that isn’t four shades too dark on my ultra pale skin. It is sheerer than an Asian BB cream, but I have combination, sensitive skin with red spots and it actually covers them rather nicely. The texture is great, and the finish has a subtle brightening effect that I really like (and lots of SPF). You also get a LOT of product with just one pump. I got mine at Target for 13.99. It does have a subtle fragrance, but it’s not unnatural; it sort of smells like sweet oats and goes away after a few minutes.

HAPPY to hear it Jenn ;-D I need! ;-D Stopped at walgreens yesterday but no lucky so def gotta get to target soon!

I found it at walmart for 15.99. I have combination acne prone skin, but aveeno is always a product that I can count on. I usually do mineral foundations, but my skin gets dry sometimes, plus I’m 41 so I worry bout wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Tried the bb cream. Really like it, covers nice, does not break me out, and my skin actually looks better when I take it off. Really happy with it.

I was at Target earlier today (looking for the daily scrub) and saw the new Aveeno BB cream. Tried a little bit on my hand, seem too light for my skin (although one pump came out a lot so that could also the reason for looking too light). So far I only tried brands BB Creams (Smashbox, Boscia, Too Face, Tarte, Dior, Shisheido, and Skin79 – Korean BB cream). My fav so far is Boscia but then again have not fully allow time for all the BB creams to show result so to be continue. Aveeno BB Cream is a bit expensive for drug store brand but it is 1/4 of the price comparing the size to other brands.
