Essence Kiss Care Love Lip Balm Spring 2013

Heads up beauty budget lovers! The new Essence Kiss Care Love Lip Balm has launched for Spring 2013 in four delicious shades.

I admit I’m a lip balm junkie. They make a guest starring appearance in my desk drawer, on top of my desk, in my makeup bag, in the bottom of my tote, on my office desk, on my night stand, on my vanity…yeah, you get the point.

I just find slicking on balm is a far easier task when you’re busy versus reapplying your lipstick and gloss.

At $1.99 each Essence soothes my beauty budget sweet tooth with their little Kiss Care Love Balms!

Essence Kiss Care Love Lip Balm

These balms have a sweet, fruity flavor and scent with a domed swivel top shape that fits the contour of lips (in a hurry!) easily for a swipe and go. They have a sheer bit of tint to them but for the most part yield very little color.

Castor oil is the main moisturizing ingredient which does have a heavier, balm-y finish on my lips but throughout the wear they soften quite well so my lips feel smooth and supple well after the balm has worn away.

I never really felt baby lips were terribly moisturizing olivia so these are def nicer for me 🙂

In stick form, they looked really frosty but the swatches are so sheer. Never tried anything with castor oil.

the pink is actually a little mod/frosty on my mouth but the coral is soooo nice ;D

Good to know about these. I get on well with Castor Oil, it seems, so one of these might sneak into my shopping bag the next time at Ulta. Mine finally updated the little Essence endcap. They had the mascara fluff, the mini nail stamper, and a few other goodies. Hopefully, they’ve got these in, too.
