Fresh Sugar Petal Lip Treatment SPF 15 for Spring 2013

Fresh Sugar Petal Lip Treatment

New season, new Sugar Lip Treatment shade from Fresh! Fresh Sugar Petal Lip Treatment joins the other eight shade selection of Fresh’s popular lip balm for the Spring 2013 season.

This is a petal pink shade in mauve casing, it looks quite MLBB in the photo (my lips but better).

Fresh’s Sugar Lip Treatment blends reparative oils and waxes with real sugar that add moisture to lips as well as a hint of tint with a lemon sugar flavor and an SPF 15.

Quite hyped! I already own all the shades so Petal will definitely be keeping them company soonish!

It’s available now at Sephora.com

P.S. Hate to rush the Spring away but I have an advent calendar counting down the days until Summer so I can get my greedy, grubby little hands on this little beauty:

Oh man, I love Sugar’s Lip Treatment sooo much. I never thought I’d pay so much for a fancy chapstick, but they’re like crack!!! I’m almost out of my current one, I may have to check this one out.

SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK! Neil Gaiman did a reading of some chapters from it near where I live, but I was’t able to go. Summer can’t come soon enough!

It seems like something we’ll be waiting ages for though! I’m hopeful he’ll release it October 2013 since he originally mentioned the sequel in October 2012. what are the chances?! :D

Yeah, hopefully he will release it for this Halloween :D I can dream right? Haha. At least knowing that it will come eventually helps though, it’s rare that I read a book I love and wish for more…and then there is more on the horizon! I am currently reading the prequel but it’s just a novella so it’ll probably take me an evening to finish it lol.

I just finished The New Hunger a few minutes ago, it was pretty scary at the end! Great insight for all the characters though. It adds a lot to the story! I’m going to read Warm Bodies now (and I am seeing it tomorrow again lol) I am not ready to be done with these characters haha.

I’m always down for book recs! Have you read “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton? I finished it about a week ago, and I’ve read a few “snacks” since then to cleanse my palette before I decide what to read next. My goal for this year is to read the books that I currently have on my Nook (that were bought a minimum of a 1 1/2 years ago lol), but I don’t know how likely that is to happen because every time I turn around, there are, like, 5 books coming out that I want to read. I’m a few months behind on most of my magazines because I’ve been so distracted by my book stash! (Which I know is not a bad problem to have.)

I love the Berry shade of this balm. If this is really a MLBB shade I might just cave :) I tend to think Fresh balms are overpriced though… I got the Berry one in a holiday set along with a lip scrub, mascara, and soy face cleanser mini which was a good deal.. the balm was full size :)

I’m nixing the Sugar Balm. I don’t get it. I got a sample tube and I can’t figure out what the big deal is. It felt like nothing special, plus the packaging is curious so me. The balm is sooo soft and it felt like it would break if I applied any pressure. Which it eventually did so I tossed it. Plus it felt weird and smelled a little bit chemical to me. I’m sticking with my tried and true Burt’s Bees. I’ve been using these for years. Cheap, natural sunscreen and pretty colors.

But totally count me in on Gaiman. I live and die for The Sandman.

I find that these lip balms are starting to become kind of repetitive in terms of color selection. I already have the rose (which I love and is a really similar color with a MLBB effect, at least for me)

I got this in the mail today and am very sad to say it’s going right back tomorrow.

Maybe it’s just my body chemistry, but this came out as a rather unflattering shade of peachy/pink. It just looked very weird and matte.

I’m really bummed! I’ll be interested in how it works for others.

This is AMAZING!! I got it yesterday in the mail from sephora, a must have. Its the most gorgeous color ever. Its a light nude pink and it so natural but gives you this great pink lip. Its a full coverage and it creamy, super mosturizing! I have found my holy grail lip balm. It actually has coverage like a lipstick. Loves.
