Goody Quik Style Absorbent Microfiber Bristles Paddle Brush Review
What if I told you that you can brush your hair and dry it at the same time? That’s exactly what the new Goody Quik Style Absorbent Microfiber Bristles Paddle Brush does! It’s like a towel and a brush all in one.
This brush was specially formatted to not only brush your hair but also to absorb water by up to 30% using special Absorbent Microfibers embedded into the bristles of the brush.
Interesting right?
Goody Quik Style Absorbent Microfiber Bristles Paddle Brush styles hair as it absorbs excess water so it acts as a brush and a towel all in one. Absorbent microfiber material is embedded into the bristles of the brush so as you stroke it through your hair fibers pick up and absorb excess water. Side vents allow for air flow and allow the water to drain out and the lightweight fibers are designed to air dry quickly after use (or you can blast it with your hair drier which fluff the fibers back up as it dries them).
I’ve never personally used anything like this brush before. I was a little worried it would tangle in my hair and indeed it did. It has a little bit of a learn curve to use it correctly but once you get a hang of it you’ll be left wondering how you lived without it.
Now you can’t fully dry your hair using the brush, obviously, you can however, reduce excess water as you blow dry and style OR you can style damp hair and reduce the water your hair has absorbed.
I typically shower in the AM and never rely on a hair dryer. I’m just an air dry kinda girl. This is excellent way to get much of the excess water out of my hair that my towel hasn’t absorbed for me.
As I said there is a learning curve to stroking just the right away so you aren’t tearing huge chunks of hair out of your head. This is the case if you have longer, curlier hair. If you have a pixie cut, shorter, or straighter hair you’ll be fine. The best way to hand the brush is to stroke through hair at an angle and go slowly at first picking up speed once all the tangles are out of your hair.
It’s actually a nifty brush once you get the knack for using it.
This one is worth checking out!
