It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Hydrating Sheer Lipstick 55

I’m thinking you need your own set of It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Hydrating Sheer Lipsticks. And you can have them too! All bundled up in a trio from our friends at QVC.

Being a massive fan of It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Anti-Aging Lipstick I was quite excited to try out their new Sheer Lipsticks. I was very happy to see that I didn’t have to technically choose a color either as QVC offers them in a three shade pack. Believe me choosing a single shade of a product I love is HARD! I almost always end up with three or four shades of something if I love it. Not having to choose is all the awesome as far as I’m concerned.

Do you need this trio?

I’d like to say YES!

It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Hydrating Sheer Lipstick

Vitality Lip Flush Lipstick Butters are an ultra-hydrating lipstick, lip gloss, and antiaging, lip-conditioning balm all in one. For me they are one part lipstick, one tiny quarter gloss, and a half a more of balm. The texture is a lightweight balm with the color pay off of a lipstick and the high sheen of a drier gloss.

I am on a roll with tinted lip balms lately and these fit the bill perfectly. The formula is more moisturizing than Revlon Lip Butter but with a heavier balm-y texture. Color pay off is more along the lines of Clinique’s Intense Chubby Lip Balms ranging in a nice natural medium color saturation. The wear has a long lasting moisture that keeps lips soft and hydrated. These are packed with plum oil, argan oil, jojoba, and cherry oil so lips are super moisturized through the wear. Plus the formula is packed with antioxidants to protect your lips from free radicals (paraben free too).

Pillow, In Love, Darling

Overall, they are a killer tinted lip balm slash lipstick! With Spring around the corner lightweight balms are all the rage in my makeup bag particularly when they are lovely as these. These wear a solid four hours and fade at around five but leave behind a blush on my lips well after color is completely gone. The formula has a high sheen with a lightweight texture that has a great pigmentation behind it so lips look naturally flushed and pretty. All three shades are flattering shades of berry and nude so they are completely wearable and universally flattering for most any skin tone.

What more could a girl (or guy) want in a lipstick?

Loves these!

I actually gave a set of these away recently and the person who won kindly e-mailed and told me how outstanding she thought they were. So don’t take my word for it 🙂 Seems I’m not the only one in love.

Muse Approved.

They are available now at QVC.com

They all look the same color in the pics. Would you say they are pretty similar and on the warm side?

    • the Muse

nicole could be my cam or your monitor but the colors aren’t similiar. They are def warmer 🙂

HI Muse, Great review! As always:) Could you compare these to the tarte butter lipstick from the last TSV? I like the tarte lippie but I’m looking for something a little more sheer. TIA.

    • the Muse

hi colleen you should prob stick with the tarte if you want sheer as these are quite pigmented. the formulas are def different too these are more balmy versus the tarte having a more buttery feel.

  • PharmNCharm

I agree! These are amazing! I’ve been wearing Darling non-stop for the last few weeks. Well, almost non-stop. I’m also really loving the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lip Stick in Plummy Rose that came in the TSV earlier this month! They are both really lovely shades and so moisturizing and soft on my lips!

    • the Muse

hey PharmnCharm love the tarte too! ;-D I thought these packed more pigment though! and love the soft, balmy texture!

Muse, would you recommend these more than the LIp Flush anti-aging lipsticks? I have to choose one and I’m not sure which.

    • the Muse

actually yes blue! some of the lip flush lipsticks are a little TOO pigmneted, these have a really natural look 😀 very lightweight and spring is here so they are perfect 😀

I love IT cosmetics and will now have o try these after being a long-time Buxom and Guerlain lippie addict 🙂
