It Cosmetics Hello Bright Eyes Eyeliner Duo

We all need a little lift from time to time that’s why It Cosmetics Hello Bright Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Duo is the perfect treat to aid us in brightening up tired eyes.

It Cosmetics Hello Bright Eyes Silk Anti-Aging Waterproof Brighteners lift and illuminate your eyes for a fresh, “I wish I got twelve hours of sleep but I’m working on five” look.

Who doesn’t need that kind of lift?

It Cosmetics Hello Bright Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Duo ($29) is made up of too micro-illuminating eyeliners that brighten and lift the eye area.

The duo includes two full size pencils and a sharpener. These pencils are formulated with hydrolyzed collagen, silk proteins, and vitamins C and E.

You get a pearl pencil which is a frosty peach shade and a matte nude pencil. You can use these around different areas of your eye. For example the nude pencil works great on the waterline to make eyes look whiter and brighter where as the pearl pencil works great in the inner corner of eyes, dabbed and blended out on the highbrow, or in the inner corner of eyes to ease fatigue and gift a lifted appearance.

The pencil formulas aren’t as creamy as I had hoped for but I find that this is the case with many It Cosmetics Eyeliner Pencils. They have a more drier formula which leads to a bit of tugging when applied. Pigmentation is sheerer so they are best used to highlight areas but not used as a traditional eyeliner pencil.

I actually like they include them as a duo particularly because they address two concerns at one time. Even better would be a dual sided pencil with the matte nude shade and pearl one. It would make it easier to travel with a single pencil!

Overall, the formula is a bit dry but these definitely aid in giving eyes a brighter more awake appearance. They are especially handy when you’re not doing anything at all on lids, shadow-less, as they’ll give a natural more awake appearance!

Hummm, it think I may like to try those, but one question, Muse. How do you think they would do in the water line? Would they stay for a while. I would love to find one that is flesh tone to stay in my water line. MUFE was to shimmery and would wash out quickly. 🙂

Will probably be on my list at a later date – I love IT but I already have a few of this type of pencil and truly, I forget to use it. LOL
