Lush Willow Bark

There’s still time for grabbing Valentine’s gifts and Lush Willow Bark Soap is the perfect treat to spoil a friend with. Creamy, dreamy, and scented with roses and lemon this gorgeous soap is a must have.

Grab it now before it’s gone!

Lush Willow Bark Soap is available for a limited time this Valentine’s Day and is seriously one of the creamiest soaps I’ve ever had the pleasure of using from Lush!

This creates mounds of gorgeous lather and has a creamy texture that moisturizes skin as it scents it with a lingering throw of roses and lemon.

Lush Willow Bark Soap

Creamy rose, Sicilian lemon and rosewood creates a mellow, creamy rose scent that’s irresistible. Lush is such a master at combining lemon and rose, I dunno how they do it, and really you’d think the two notes wouldn’t work well together but they are positively delightful! The tart bite of lemon isn’t to be had here, what you will get is the sweetness it lends to the rose notes. This translates as a sweetened almost candy-like rose with a slight bite from rosewood. It’s sultry, it’s floral, it’s a tad sweet, and it’s all about romance.

Willow Bark Soap is gorgeous.

Do run to Lush and grab a bar before its gone! The lingering scent and gorgeous lather is well worth your time.

Muse Approved.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m not a lush person but somehow when I read the title of the soap, I immediately wanted it. Read on and yeahhh, I’ll be stopping by Lush today during lunch. It just looks so clean and sounds great with lemon and rose.

    • the Muse

it’s delightful or at least my nose loves it…there’s lemon, rose, and a little hint of something earthy (but nice earthy) in the background! Let me know what you think!

No willow bark (or extract of, so no salicylic acid) to be had in the soap. 😛
Willow Pattern is just the name! Here is the wiki page on both the story and iconic ceramic pattern, since lush also recreated it on the huge round soap. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willow_pattern
      It’s a beautiful and tragic story~

p.s. Muse are you getting any of the etude house sweet recipe stuff? I’ve been loving all over the commercials so far, so adorable!!!

          • the Muse

yes yes yes ;-D I want it all hehe! Don’t you love the little cotton balls?

          • Alanna

I do but but! Theyre only cotton balls! D: I really want the makeup base, I can only find korean photo reviews so far!! Oh oh and the candy canes~ I cant fool anyone, I want everything…

          • the Muse

I know but I must have them! haha! I like the smudging eye pot. Also I’m excited about the base too because it reminds me of the Peach Base from years ago! I loved that base SO damn much ;-D

            sigh mr. zinopark, take my money! as if I didnt already have TWO other orders on the way ;____;

lol I was considering going with him as he’d ship faster than a friend of mine ;-D

Hi Musey, does this soap smell close to their lip tint in A Million Kisses at all? I LOVE the smell of that tint (wish it came in perfume form!) but in a soap? Yes please! <3

This was the only thing I kept from all the Lush’s Valentine’s Day stuff I got, I loved the scent and, as you said, very creamy lather. I’m starting to get annoyed at all their great LEs that DON’T come back year after year, I think it promotes hoarding. I mean… I had to buy a backup, and then I thought “When did I start buying backups for soaps?”. Ah, so sad. But my shower smells great U.U

    • the Muse

oh god does it promote hoarding because I ordered three more after I smelled the promo soap I got lol! 😀 I didn’t want to be without! Hope they make it a perfume next year!

      • Marta

Yep, the could call the perfume “Willow bark? Nah dude, lemon & roses”!
I realized I’m annoyed by the name as well xD I never bought Leap Frog because, well, it had “frog” in its name (but I got Shiro’s Battletoads, so I’m definitely biased against frogs. So, two cons for Lush (excessive LEs and confussing names), and a mere one or two hundred pros, which, honestly, being a Friday and all, I’m not listing.
        Nice weekend!

I picked up a bar of this. I sniffed it in store and had to get one as it smells great.

Do you find these melt in the shower? I’m always afraid of bar soaps melting on me. 🙁

      • blueraccoon

Sorry for not being clear 🙁 Sometimes when I have bar soap in the shower it turns into a melty mess before I can use it, is what I mean. I tend to stick to shower gels for that reason; the bar soap just kind of…goes to goop unless it’s in a closed container. Does this do that? Do you have to keep it in a closed dish?
