NARS Torrid Blush Review & Swatches
I just picked up NARS Blush in Torrid a month or two ago. Although I have yet to do so yet, I’m really on a mission to own every NARS Blush shade in the known universe.
There blushes are pricey but well worth owning as they apply easily, have the best pigment, and wear all damn day. That last part is super important to me.
Being obsessed with peaches and particularly consumed with the way NARS does them I picked up Torrid.
Here are some thoughts!
Sometimes NARS has a goofy moment with blushes and they tend to be a tad too dense, a little too dry, and sometimes, gasp, outrage, a little patchy during application. Torrid suffers none of these problems. Although dense it proves satiny and perfectly basic to apply without a hiccup. The formula is pigmented, exactly what you’d expect from a NARS Blush, and leaves behind a beautiful glow-y coral on my cheeks.
Although it contains a smidge of shimmer the finish is more of a satin so no disco-ball cheeks to be had here. Some folks call Torrid the perfect shade for tanned or olive complexions. I can easily see why! I purchased my sister the shade for her Christmas stocking when I got mine and it had a bewitching pop on her tanned skin.
If you don’t already own it I’d recommend picking it up. It might be a nice replacement for Orgasm if you felt the shade too sheer or too shimmery (I love Orgasm but I know some folks don’t).
With Spring on the way I’m starting to feel raved up for peaches again so this joins my stash at just the right moment and season.
Do you own Torrid?
