Sephora Pastel Pop Eyeshadow Palette for Spring 2013

Sephora Pastel Pop Eyeshadow Palette

Can I get a hells yes on the Sephora Pastel Pop Eyeshadow Palette? Pastels never looked this good! For Spring 2013, the new Sephora Pastel Pop Collection is kinda rocking my world and this palette, this palette will be mine.

Take a look!

Sephora’s Pastel Pop Eyeshadow Palette ($28) features eight shadows in a mix of matte, shimmering, and sparkling finishes. Four mattes and four sparkling top coats can be used alone or together to create a variety of looks.

My eyes zeroed in on the peachy pink sparkle (first row, second palette). Did you also catch the pink “S” emblem? Cute extra as Sephora typically favors their traditional white and black design.

Along with the new Jumbo Pencils I’m seeing a Sephora haul in my near future.

I think this palette will find a happy home in my stash.

How about yours?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yes! You get a ‘hells yes’! And a ‘thanks for posting this’ cuz I missed it in my Sephora browsing the other day! 😀 first one to get the palette wins! Something… Uh.. Cool! 😛

Swatched this in store. Top colors are densely packed chunky sparkle with virtually no color payoff, and the bottom row are more neutral toned than pastel. It was a disappointment for me unfortunately. I yearned for more true pastel shades. 🙁

While this is beautiful, and a great deal, I think I’ll pass. I have way too many shadows in this range already, and I prefer deeper shades (although I’m pale, my eyes are *very* dark). Sephora has really stepped up their quality, though, so I’m betting this will be a great palette.

Though the colors looks wonderful, I think I’ll pass on this. Pastel colors does not seem to work with my yellow undertone. 🙁

I think either one of Smashboxes older palettes would be more pastel – like the Bloom palette or the Muse palette for instance.

As soon as I heard “chunky glitter” I tuned out.
