Heads up, new liquid eyeliner on the horizon from our friends at Sleek Makeup! The new Sleek Makeup Flick It Eyeliner is a MUST HAVE. I know nothing about using a liquid eyeliner correctly, just can’t get that flick down right, but I know a good formula when I see one and Sleek Makeup’s new Flick It Eyeliner ($9.49) is a good one!

Sleek Makeup will be launching the new Flick It Eyeliner on February 13th in two limited edition shades of Royal Blue and Purple Aura and one standard shade, Dazzling Black.

Flick It has a precise felt tip point with an easy flow formula that glides across my lash line with an even and smooth finish. The shade I tried, Royal Blue, is pigmented so a single stroke yields perfect color. The precision point allows you to easily create that “flick” to achieve the perfect cat eye.

The interesting thing about Sleek’s formula is the incredible wear. I swatched this on my hand and it lasts 24 straight hours without fading. On my eyes it wore for 14 hours without a single issue! No fading, no smudging. The dry down is instant and budge-proof.

The moral of this story is Sleek Makeup has perfected the liquid eyeliner here.

Great eyeliner.

Now if I only knew how to achieve that perfect kitten eye.

    Great review! I’m trying to venture out of the realm of pencil eyeliners and am trying to be brave by getting a gel liner. Any you can recommend? What’s your HG of gel liners?

        I read some ‘perfect’ cat eye instructions in a magazine, but haven’t bothered to try it…I’m not that motivated! It was basically, take a nude pencil or concealer (something that will be easy to blend in or otherwise clean up) and draw a line from the outer corner of your eye to the outer corner of your eyebrow, then use a pencil in the same shade as your liquid liner and place a dot on that line where you want the cat eye to end. Then you use the pencil to (lightly!) connect the dot to the corner of your eye and sketch in the rest of the cat eye. Once you’re happy with it, THEN you go over the whole thing with your liquid liner.

    Oh! That’s insanely nice! I’m still trying to work with the felt tip eye liner that I have, my cat eyes look like… well a sick cat.

    Wow, early morning blog reading may not be the best thing for me to do. You see, a capital L next to a capital I really ends up looking like a U to my bleary eyes, and that MAY have been the reason I clicked on this article.
    The navy liner really does look good, though, and is something I’d consider adding to the Sleek shopping cart that didn’t exist before you pointed me in the right (and more expensive!) direction. 😀

    I draw on my eyebrows with liquid as well as a daily cat eye (not a subtle makeup kind of girl) and am always looking for something that will last longer.

    I’m always in the market for a good longlasting eyeliner! I think I might have to give this a try. Does it flake at all in the 14 hrs?? I seem to have that problem with liquid eyeliners.
