Take a look!

Wet n Wild Spring Forward Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes Collection

Wet n Wild Spring Forward Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes Collection Spring 2013

These got decked out for Spring in a new white compact with pretty little floral designs along the top edge of each palette. Each palette contains eight shadows each and comes in two color variations.

Going in the Wild is the most Spring-like with pops of lighter green and purple combined with nudes. Where as Nude Awakening is a full on natural, nude shades. Each palette was $4.49 at the Harmons I purchased them from.

I’ll review these for you shortly along with swatches.

Do you like either shade selection?

Anyone see them at their local drugstore?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. EEEEEK!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!! they both look nice but the nude awakening is a MUST!!!

    • the Muse

check your local drugstores Yelena. they are at drugstores now but unfortunately I can’t tell you exact locations that they will pop up as some stores are slower than others getting displays out.

  • Bailey

Oh my word these look beautiful! That mint shade need to be mine. The hunt is on – thanks for sharing 🙂

  • YELENA

i’ve never tried the mint color on my lids but i’m intrigued. every shade looks really gorgeous!
is it just me, or no matter how many high end eye shadows I have, i always come back to the WNW 8 pan palette! they r just so easy to work with 🙂

  • Cindy Ramirez

Nude Awakening plz! I love me some nude colors, and for that price I won’t feel guilty adding it to my collection… muhaha!

  • Melissa

Nude awakening looks very similar to the UD Naked 1 palette. Have you swatched these by each other?

  • Vi

Mm…not so sure these shades are anything super special, unfortunately. I’ve been hearing about how awesome WnW eyeshadows are so I’m planning to buy some soon, but I’ll probably gravitate to the single shadows rather than these larger sets. I just like picking out my own colors, I guess. 🙂

    • Tammie

They only have a handfull of singles so you might just be better off getting the palettes…the only really good single is “Nutty” imho…

  • 00trayn

Ack! I want the pastel one! I bought the Comfort Zone palette recently and I’m quite impressed with the quality, especially for $5! I need to find this one now! My CVS tends to have a terrible selection, I wonder if other drug stores might be better. I don’t really see Wet N Wild in Target or Walmart…

    • amy

I don’t know where you live, but I have the best luck tracking down WnW at Rite Aid & Walgreen’s. I agree about CVS; they seem to get things slower, and the stock is minimal. I’ve seen some displays literally go 2-3 months with just a handful of product, and this is even when I’m making 2-3 trips a week for other things.

      • Sara

I have Rite Aid and Walgreens in the general area. CVS is just the closest one (and it’s a tiny one at that). I’ll definitely be on the hunt this weekend… hehe.

  • Daniela

Uggh nooo!!!! More things to hunt down!! Lol off to every walgreens in the city I go

  • Angela

Definitely have to head out to my drugstore this weekend to see if I can find these. I just love Wet n Wild palettes. So pigmented and inexpensive.

  • Christina

Is it me or does nude awakening look vaguely like the naked 1 palette? Both are really lovely to look at! Looking forward to your review!

  • Jen_m_sunshine

I REALLY do NOT need anymore eyeshadow but I must admit that even in this snowstorm I may be stopping by Walgreens today to see if they have them! I am trying to cure my lemming for the Bobbi Brown lilac rose eye palette and hoping this will satisfy!!!! Yeah, right. I will end up buying that too.

  • amy

I like both, but I can’t see myself hunting down either one. I love Nude Awakening, but my initial reaction was “Naked 1!”, as others have stated, and although I love the left hand side of the other palette, I can’t see myself using the other half very much. That said, if our paths cross, both will be mine.

  • Trish

I’ve been wanting to try wnw shadow since hearing about how good they are. Even though I definitely don’t need more products to work through I just might have to give them a try.

I checked in our local Wegman’s (grocery store) this past weekend, but they don’t carry them.

  • Angela C.

    Hey Muse,

Are any of these repeats from any of their other palettes? The one with the green shadow kind of reminds me of Lorac’s Mint Edition palette available at Ulta.

  • dia

Fingers crossed those pastels are well pigmented! I’d love to get pale yellow that wasn’t super sheer.

  • Shelby

These ones better come to canada this time, I still annoyed about missing out on the Sparkle till morning and Drinking a glass of shine ones.

  • Dena

I went to 3 CVS stores and 1 Walgreens and so far none of the western KY stores have seen them. But when I do… Oh yeah, for sure I’m getting both! ❤ Love them

  • Veronica

*gasp* A neutrals palette that isn’t ALL warm-toned? Color me impressed. I’m on a bit of a shopping hiatus right now, but I’m glad to see some softer shades sneaking in for spring. Love those lavenders and aquamarines. 😀

  • Her Late Night Cravings

We must find these!! 🙂 You are the first blog that has shown these two so thank you!!

  • Jen

They look gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your reviews – I’m looking for a good travel palette with no fallout (I’ve realized most of my palettes have some glitter colors, and even when I sandwich glitter shadows between two layers of primer I tend to get fallout).

  • Danii

I want Going in the Wild! I don’t buy a lot of WnW, though I know they have great eyeshadow and I don’t really use or care for pastels. I am a sucker for mint and those purples are so pretty. I just can’t find the products I’m looking for at the two closest Walgreens and CVS stores. I went trying to find their Fantasy Makers stuff, but nope. I have to go to a different CVS that’s somewhat farther away but for a cheap thrill, yes please.

  • Bethany

I will have to hunt these down. My Wal-mart carries WnW but didn’t get any of the last limited edition palettes. I will have to make a special trip to Walgreens.

  • Erin

I picked BOTH up yesterday! The colors are beautiful! You are the first person to mention these! And yes, the green has high payoff color! I was not disappointed!

    • the Muse

yay erin so glad you got these ;-D they seem a little hard to find at the moment so happy you located ’em ;D I like the green too, trying to play around with it a little this week (wearing today) 😀

  • Angela

    Muse,

I’m in Arizona. I was on my way to get these and I just found out that a lady in Tempe bought all the ones that were at the CVS store. She got all of them. I bet she’s going to put them on Ebay. Have you heard anything more on these? Will they be releasing more through out the states. Can you help me?

    Angela

  • smplyanita619

I’m looking forward to finding both! A few friends have put in requests for me to pick them up when I do find them…it’s been a task, but I’m determined. I’ve read a lot of great reviews (including this one). Thanks for posting!
