Yes to Grapefruit Brightening Facial Towelettes Review
The new Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Towelettes are formulated with the Vitamin C found in Grapefruit to naturally exfoliate your skin while cleansing it of makeup, oil, and dirt.
They also promise one of my favorite things when it comes to skincare, a bright complexion! Yes please, take my dullness away.
Take a look!
Yes to Grapefruit is a recently Spring 2013 launch that features a variety of products to address dark spots and dullness. The products are 98% Natural with a paraben-free formula.
These are generously sized facial wipes that are scented like bright, sunny grapefruit. I think the scent might be a little too much for those with sensitive skin so just be aware prior to a purchase. Personally I loved the scent. They smell gorgeous and I’m all about deliciously scented skincare.
Each wipe is about twice the size of a normal makeup remover wipe so they are a generous size. The wipes are textured which allows for gentle exfoliation as you swipe away makeup, dirt, and oil. They remove makeup fairly well even waterproof mascara. I know that’s unheard of but I was wearing Clinique High Impact yesterday and it easily removed a majority of the mascara I had on plus heavy eyeshadow without an issue. I did follow up with cleansing oil after but for the most part the wipes removed about 85% of my makeup. Not too shabby!
They aren’t sticky or tacky nor are they too terribly saturated. They leave skin soft but not greasy, oily, or even dewy after use. I’m unsure if the brightening aspect is working for me unfortunately.
At $5.99 for a pack of 25 they are reasonably priced so if you’re looking for a new cleansing wipe to use I’d recommend checking these out. One thing that stuck out for me was the larger size of each wipe, I didn’t feel like I needed two wipes to do my face!
These are available now at major drugstores as well as Ulta or check out for more info www.yestocarrots.com
