About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I would like to try Bahama Berry and Paradise Passionfruit- even though these scents mimic the one from B&BW . These are cheaper so Ill go with these:)

  • Kadie Lee

I’m kind of bothered that they are so similar to B&BW’s spring scents. A lot. Even down to the packaging.

    • Ashley

I have noticed that a lot too, it bothers me that they can’t come up with their own ideas for packaging; they just base it off of BBW

so i have a question. i feel like this company must be owned by the same as the ones that make the products for bath and body works. Is that the case?

    • Kadie Lee

Nope. B&BW is owned by Limited Brands. Limited Brands owns B&BW, Victoria’s Secret, White Barn Candle, La Senza, Henri Bendel and CO Bigelow. The only ones you can expect to see a similarity in for that reason are B&BW and VS, which has only very rarely happened, especially not in the last 5 years.

Love me some Bodycology. The Frosted Sugar Plumb and Coconut Lime scents are amazing and I have a sneaking suspicion I will love these as well. As for the packaging mimicking BABW, it doesn’t matter to me. I love a bargain, regardless.

I would love to try these. Are these only sold at Walmart?
However, the marketing is bothering me. Everything from the packaging, product names, and even the collection description is so similar to Bath and Body Works’ “Escape Collection” scents. I love bargains as much as anyone else does but when companies try to base their products off of others it definitely tells me something about the integrity of the brand.

I smelled each and everyone of them at Wal-Mart. But the one that really knocked me off my feet was that Cabo Coconut. A refreshing scent that stays on you and your clothing. It even lingers around the room you walk through so I purchased all of them that were lying on the shelf. My co-workers loved the scent themselves that they even tried to look for this fragrance and could not locate it due out of stock at Wal-Mart. Therefore, I gave each and one of them (3) one of mines leaving me with 2. I hope they start selling this in 4ounce bottle where you can put in your purse. Only thing I am worry about; are these fragrances seasonal.

I liked the coconut too! 😀 they are seasonal 🙁 that’s the only prob! damn…! you’re a nice coworker I wanna work with you ;-D
