Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick Review & Swatches

Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks

Etude House recently introduced three flavors of their new Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks and I quickly snatched them up as they were so cute who could resist?

Shaped like little candy canes these are created using five different vegetable extracts to keep lips soft and smooth through the wear.

Take a look!

As if I need another tinted lip balm but it was kinda hard to resist Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks! Available in Lemon Candy, Strawberry Candy, and Orange Candy flavors these tasty little balms lend a delicate tint to lips while softening and smoothing through the wear.

Each tint is shaped like a little candy cane with a swivel up lip balm inside. The balms have a chapstick-like texture that smoothes onto lips leaving behind a sheen of color. The balmy texture is lightweight and comfortable to wear with a shy hint of waxiness, nothing to noticeable though!

The flavors quite remind me of flavored jelly beans! They are tasty with a sweet candy-like scent but this quickly disappears once applied. The tint isn’t exactly a natural finish so you can see and know you have on some sort of colored lip balm but the colors are wearable and quite pretty once in place particularly the orange which produces a orange-y red color on lips. The yellow actually also applies with color but not tinting lips yellow but red…odd right? But it appears to be a color changing technique of some sort.

Through the wear they keep lips pleasantly moisturized and will prevent chapped lips while easing drier ones.

They’ll only set you back a few dollars on many shops on E-bay so they are worth picking up especially if you like balms with a hint of flavor and tint!

I have a new E-bay Seller I’d recommend purchasing from. F2PLUS1 ships fast and has VERY reasonable prices. I recently purchased a few items from her shop and she was very fast so ship! All products were authentic that I purchased as well with very reasonable prices. I am not affiliated with this shop merely purchased from her recently! She carries these balms as well!

The Sweet Recipe collection is just too cute! And yes, I agree that f2plus1 is an A+ seller. His/Her Sweet Recipe products are the cheapest ones on ebay.

Oh! I purchased my Sweet Recipe stuff from F2Plus as well. Super fast shipping. I love these sweet little lip balms. I feel like the color they give my lips is young and fresh. Did you try the all over color pots, or choux base? Interesting…..

Awesome!! I super curious about what you think. I’m on the fence. I’m trying to decide the best application method for both products, though the formulas seem to match. My husband did tell me I looked very cute kpop when I was wearing them. Maybe it’s because I made dinner though.

I’m moving in three weeks (eep!) and with shipping time from Korea I’m afraid this would arrive just as we’re moving and get lost in the shuffle. Plus I’m *trying* to be on a no-buy until after we move anyway (i’m not succeeding very well). But these are really, really cute, and I may have to get them once I’m done moving.
