Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips Talk Review & Swatches
Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear my Jelly Lips Talk are a newly launched lightweight tinted lipstick that Etude House released with their uber cute Sweet Recipe Spring 2013 Collection.
I was a little skeptical going into this purchase as my experience with the Etude House Miss Tangerine Dear Darling Lips was disappointing. Etude House really fancies creamy lipstick and I don’t really love cream lipsticks. Miss Tangerine seemed like they’d be a transparent balm-like lippie but turned out they were a full color cream formula.
No like!
So I was a little worried Dear My Jelly Lipsticks would turn into much the same after getting them and realizing the translucent lipstick I had hoped for appeared quite…CREAM!
This very cute little lipsticks come in eight different shades for a few dollars each depending where you buy them! I recently hauled two shades I followed up by placing an order for the additional six colors and a few shades extra as I wanted to try them out on my eyes and cheeks! Recently Etude House posted a tutorial for using them as an eyeshadow and I def wanted to try that out myself so waiting on my order to give it a whirl! The formula will actually also work great as a cream blush should you want to multitask to the max.

These come in a cute lightweight plastic tube with a gem ban in the shade of the lipstick surrounding the base. The packaging is girlishly cute and almost appears like a toy lipstick of some sort.
Inside shades appear to be a cream finish but they actually provide a sheer wash of color on lips with a glossy finish and a lightweight moisturizing formula that tastes like fruity jelly beans with a back note of fresh picked rose petals.

The formula glides onto lips like butter and has a melty consistency which leaves behind a splash of color and shine on lips. They have a shorter wear time of around an hour or two tops but they are easy enough to travel with for touch ups on the go. The two colors I tried were delightful as both looked different on lips. Being sheer I expected the shades to look similiar but you can actually differentiate between shades easily! I hope this proves the case for the other colors.
These aren’t quite a lipstick but a cross between a gloss, a balm, and tinted lip treatment. They keep lips nicely softened and moisturized through the wear, provide a delightful girlish tint to lips, and have a gorgeous formula that leaves lips naturally flushed and glossy!
Really loving these.
Muse Approved for purchase.
A perfect lip treat for Summer (and Spring!).

E-bay seller Zinopark carries these. I am not affiliated with him but have purchased from him happily in the past.
