Beauty budgeters come out come out wherever you are! You’re going to want the new Jordana Sweet n Smooth Nourishing Lip Balm for sure as it’s a mere $1.49 and provides a pop of color as well as a little shine and moisture too.

Plus it comes in eight whooping flavors!

Jordana Sweet n Smooth Nourishing Lip Balm

Have I tempted you!?

Jordana Sweet n Smooth Nourishing Lip Balm 16

Newly launched for Spring Jordana Sweet n Smooth Nourishing Lip Balm ($1.49) is a new tinted flavored lip balm infused with infused with Vitamin C, Shea Butter & Jojoba Oil to help hydrate and protect lips.

Available in eight shades (and flavors) this balm as a little something for everyone seeking color and moisture.

Ok, issue, I never touch up my lipgloss or my lipstick as the day progresses. I’m TERRIBLE about doing this. I typically do a beautiful lip look in the AM, head out of the house, and once it fades away I never bother reapplying it. I’m positive the beauty police arrest people for lesser offenses but I’m just not one of those girl’s that likes to reapply a full lip look. I am, however, completely a balm freak. I apply and reapply it a hundred times a day and have tons of little balms and tints in my desk drawer at work, on top of my desk, in my tote, in my makeup bag, even in my pocket.

That’s why products like Jordana Sweet n Smooth Nourishing Lip Balm are such a freaking cheap thrill!

These have a soft, delicious little texture that glides onto lips leaving a fairly surprisingly pop of pigmented color. I expected sheer but many of these shades are quite pigmented and give lips a just bitten look. Granted, some run sheerer, but some of the pinks and oranges provide quite a lovely tint. On top of the tint you get a nice bit of shine as well as moisture! Score!

Shades/Flavors:

  • Juicy Raspberry
  • Yummy Strawberry
  • Tasty Watermelon
  • Sweet Mango

I didn’t find them terribly hydrating as in these are going to cure my dry, flaky chapped lips. I did however, feel they provided plenty of moisture when my lips were behaving normally.

Plus they provide all the benefits I look for in a balm! Moisture, check. Variety, double check as you have so many shades and flavors to choose from! A little tint of color that’s noticeable on lips, total check!

mm i dunno if it’s a knock off, baby lips has been around a short time and these types of packaging have always been around for balms ;-D

      • ChynnaBlue

Yeah, but the colors and packaging are so similar that at first glance I thought you had a Baby Lips in there, too. I’ll have to keep an eye out for the mango one – looks really nice!

      • MJ

They have been around for a short time, but they’ve been incredibly successful (I don’t know one girl in any of my classes that doesn’t have a Maybelline Baby Lips balm in her bag). This is probably going to be the new “trend” that all other brands will try to hit on, much like BB cream. Speaking of which, I was reading Allure the other day when I found a article that defined BB cream as tinted moisturizer with anti-aging properties.

  • Ruth

I’ve only recently been introducted to the awesomeness of Jordana make up and am loving it! their mascara is pretty good there is an older style of lippie balm thingie that comes in a thinner tube that is fantastic. they’re as you say “cheap as chips”very moisturizing, great color payoff and smell awesome.

    • the Muse

those are incredible ruth, the lip balms in the thin tube! I can’t rave them enough ;D

  • Julia A

I am the same about lipstick! I bring the lipstick I use for the day to work and I get lazy to reapply. I’ve wondered when the Beauty Police would arrest me for such an offense, lol.
I would love to try these balms, especially Tasty Watermelon and Sweet Mango! Do you have a favorite, Muse?

    • the Muse

seriously at the least they’ll ticket you! LOL ;-D I do indeed succulent cherry! It’s the best pigment and looks like I applied a lighter red lipstick ;-D great shade!

  • Jane

Ooh! Love your little beetle (spider? Fly? Can’t quite tell) brooch!

    • the Muse

oh thanks! she’s a little spider 😀 irony is I am terrified of spiders but collect spider brooches *head desk* what is wrong with me!?

  • Amy

For that price tag, I need to pick up at least one of these! I’m a balm freak too! 😀 They sound more promising than what the Baby Lips have done for me!

  • Janelle

oh no! I can see all of these making their way into my cart when I am at CVS. At least they are cheap. I just got a bunch of baby lips, but the color on these is fantastic! Such a great pigment and the mango looks amazing on you! I hope it looks a fraction as good on your’s truely!

    • the Muse

i think you’ll love ’em janelle! pigment is way better 😀 I hope it looks fab on you dear (and I’m sure it will).

  • Kari

Muse! I feel like I know you. I’ve spent the last, like, two weeks reading your entire blog from front to back, and going through all your Asian product reviews! I’m a first time commenter, but I absolutely love this blog! Number one, because my favorite band is Muse and I have a Muse tattoo on my back, by the way. Number two, your reviews are awesome, and you really and truly review everything! I am obsessed with Asian products as well.. all the peach and cherry flavored items, love them! I have been convinced to try quite a few things after reading your reviews.
Anyways, before I write a novel here, just wanted to say thank you for your extensive reviews.. you’ve got a long time reader out of me!

    • the Muse

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Kari! Comments like yours are food for my inspiration thank you! thank you for spending time with, for enjoying Musings, for spending your hour or day with me ;-D That’s so brilliant! I adore Asian products too so ALWAYS love chatting it up with others who do too! 😀 hehe I love Muse too! great band! thank YOU so so SO much for your amazing comment, it totally made my day 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter if you celebrate! Don’t be a stranger, I hope we’ll talk again soon!

      • Kari

Of course!! And reading from the past reviews… it looks like you’re a walking dead fan? and that you read the comics as well? is that correct?

  • Moon

Okay Muse I have a few silly questions. It’s not relating to your review but I just wonder what would a make up junkie do. I am not a big fan of lip blam but I should since I have dry lips, but I am too lazy. When I do use balm I normally go with just the regular store bought, transparent kind. With these color/tinted lip balm, do you have to use make up remover to wash it off? Also, there are days that I just don’t feel like puting on make up, do you think it looks odd to use tinted lip balm?

  • Kristin

Do you know whether these have been fully released yet? I haven’t been able to find them anywhere except online so far.

    • the Muse

kristin it appears milani and jordana like doing online for a month or so before going to drugstores…I imagine soon you’ll see them popping up in ds locations.

  • blueraccoon

These are super cute…but I just bought ALL the NYC Applelicious lip balms (yes, all, don’t ask me why…stupid compulsive collecting habits). I feel like I can’t buy any more cheap tinted lip balms right now!

  • Alanna

I NEED a couple of these! I only have a tiny break in my shift so I can never reapply lip stuff, but my FAVORITE thing to do is use my revlon balm stains as a stain/liner and a lipstick on top! It worked awesome awesome awesome. I used the cherry red just bitten balm stain as my base and the (now discontinued) UD lipstick in revolution yesterday, and I still had perfect looking bright red lips at the end of 8 hours. 😀 the intensity faded a LITTLE, of course, but it’s the most solid wear I’ve had from a bright matte lip.

  • Nesita

Ohh, these look great! And so cheap too, I’d buy all of them if they were sold here haha

  • reen

these look great muse! i love jordan a products, u should try jordana mascara! its amazing!! thanks for the swatches and review!

  • Lydia (Sparkle With Me)

Oooh great find Muse! I’m such a fan of the Baby Lips and these look even cheaper and better! Must track ’em down soon!

  • jenn s.

We’ll share a cell, Muse. I don’t touch up my lips either, lol. I am on top of blotting around my nose for oily shine and making sure that my liner is not smeared, but I totally slack on my lips for some reason (?) I don’t even put lip balm on unless my lips feel extremely dry. My only exception to this is special occasions: weddings (yes, my lips and the rest of my makeup looked fab for 6+ hours during my own wedding!), date nights with sweet hubby, and special girls night out dates with friends. My name is Jenn and I am a lip slacker (not to be confused with a Lip Smacker, lol)

  • Iris

I love vanilla beauty products and Vanilla Cake sounds like a lip balm I’d love.

  • Swarnali B

Wow, they seem to be pretty pigmented for a balm! 😀 I want to buy these! 😀 The packaging is sooo cute! Muse, could you please suggest me some drugstore brands that are available in the Uk? My friend is going to the UK soon..so I can ask her to get me some goodies! 😛

  • Dr. Jessica Tuttle

I am just like you. I never reapply lipstick but I’m a balm fanatic!

  • Simone

I own 1 Jordana lip liner, and although many things have intrigued me, I always seem to walk passed Jordana in the beauty supply store.

These however, I may make a special trip for! Baby Lips But Better? Yes please!

  • Elle BigWig

I wondered about these lip balms. I was trying to find something for clients that I didn’t mind using a few times and then throwing away. Thanks to you I may give them a try!

  • Krystle(Baking Beauty)

These all look amazing especially vanilla cake and yummy strawberry.

I love how affordable they are, I always end up putting my lip balms thru the washer! 🙁

  • Sharal Barboza

Hey great review! N Gosh…their packaging is just like Maybelline Baby lips. I’ve tried baby lips rose addict and i love it.. But i love the color of these lip balms.. Will try them soon.. Maybe Tasty Watermelon or Succulent cherry. 🙂

  • wendy

Hi! I’ve your blog on my favourites for more than a year now! =) Much impressed by the time u take to take all the photos and swatches, and then posting them up for everyone! Are u interested in doing a swap because i havent got access to some of these lovely budget brands u keep reviewing! Im from singapore. =D

    • the Muse

hi wendy how are you! aw thanks so much! so glad you enjoy Musings! Unfortunately I don’t have much time for swapping at the moment 🙁 I’m a little too busy to do so at the moment but forums are a great way to meet makeup loving friends and arranging swaps!

  • Ch

Looks pretty on you, muse. Do they have strong scented taste like the baby lips have? I didn’t like that strong taste from baby lips. thanks for the review.

    • the Muse

ch they do have a flavor, all different flavors actually, some are really nice and fruity but others are a little plastic fruit 🙂 if you’re sensitive to flavored balms it might not be for you hun!

  • Miss D

Jordana just has some great inexpensive products…thanks for the review! 🙂

  • MelissaJayne

Can you get these in Canada? I have never seen them before but they look adorable!

  • Kelly

Are these nicely tinted for pigmented lips? And I remember I saw another review of yours on the NYX tinted lip balm, which seem similar. Idk which to buy! Which do u think is better? These or nyx?

  • Katie

Wher can I buy these? They look so cute! Which is yor fav? I only want a few, not all. Which do I recommend?

  • Mellisa

Are these better than nyx lip butter or babylips? Nice review btw 🙂 I like how colourful these cute little balms are!

  • Callisto

Hey nice review! I saw ur other baby lips lips reviews and NYX lip butter balm review too and I want to buy some new tinted lip balms 🙂 which out of these jordana balm, NYX and baby lips are the best? Which brand is the best and why? Thnx in advanced 🙂
