L’Occitane En Provence Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette Review
Last year, L’Occitane’s Cherry Princess won my heart and this year their new Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette is my newest obsession! L’Occitane En Provence Spring Cherry is a must have my dear friends especially for those who love delicate, flirty little fragrances that make put a little pep in your step!
You NEED this!
L’Occitane En Provence Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette isn’t a full on floral nor is it fruity or cherry or cherry blossom anything. It starts out as a slightly masculine/unisex scent in the bottle. There’s a woodsy note here that reminds me of a male cologne but once I spritz it on the classic scent of cherry blossom comes out to play in the background. I do say background because although entitled Spring Cherry it isn’t all about cherry blossom!
Fruity notes of mandarin and a strong yet mellow, soft layer of blackcurrant gives the scent an unusual twist. I think the blackcurrant is what makes the scent so special! It has a fruity layer but musk and woods keep it from being too fruity or too floral.
You have to try it! I know you’ll love it as much as I do.
As L’Occitane gets older they seem to get better with fragrances. Lately, their EDT have a stronger linger and an excellent throw. I’m also very impressed with some of their new scents as they have a certain complexity to them that makes them unique enough to warrant back ups. I regret not purchasing a back up of Cherry Princess but I won’t make the same mistake with Spring Cherry!
It’s a must have.
