Maybelline Fiercely Fuchsia High Shine Gloss Review & Swatches

Maybelline Fiercely Fuchsia High Shine Gloss

Maybelline Fiercely Fuchsia High Shine Gloss is a new limited edition shade launched with the new Maybelline So Electric Collection (along with several other shades).

There are some bold shades in this collection and Fiercely Fuchsia happens to be one!

Take a peek!

Maybelline Fiercely Fuchsia High Shine Gloss Spring 2013

Unlike the recent Striking Peach shade I reviewed Fiercely Fuchsia is a pretty wickedly bold shade. This is a bright full coverage fuchsia with a hint of pearl iridescence. This is the type of shade that would work beautifully with tanned or darker skin tones.

The formula is a little iffy on this one as it applied a tad on the patchy side. I typically get a very smooth, plush feel from these glosses but this took a few layers to look smooth. The name is slightly misleading as it isn’t truly a high shine glossy finish so a little clear gloss on top is a nice extra to get more of a shiny finish. It’s actually worth the hassle of playing with it even though it is a bit patchy. Built up it is rather stunning and looks incredible with clear gloss on top!

If you’re looking for a full coverage gloss with opaque coverage this would be your girl. Pigment is crazy good here although application makes it seem sheerer I promise once applied and build it provides the coverage of a lipstick. The color is quite stunning although not something I’d typically wear daily.

Definitely one to haul if you enjoy bright, bold shades of gloss.

Can’t wait to see your review of the Riveting rose shade as I considered it this morning when I was at Walgreens (trying to locate the ever elusive WnW spring eye palettes!!!). I picked up the Coral and Pink Glisten from the original launch as I must have overlooked them initially! I am def liking the Peach shade especially the more i make lip cocktails! I also like the lilac one knockout pearl to for same reason.

striking peach is def one for cocktailing jen, a little sheer on its own but lovely with coral stain under it ;-D or some sort of coral lipstick! ;-D this is a pretty shade, little hiccups with the formula for me but gorgeous. I’m not sure I’ll wear it readily though ;-D seems bold and won’t go well with a louder eye look but still worth picking up if you wear pink a lot ;-D! I wish they had a really bright orange one ;-D

Oh, so pretty in pink, you are! I like a gloss with a bold color in it. 🙂

These are pretty great. I couldn’t decide so got one of each (LE collections always get me). They have a good long wear time too.
