Milani Orange-Gina Color Statement Lipstick Review & Swatches
Anyone one for burnt orange gorgeousness? Milani Statement Lipstick in Orange-Gina is my new go to for Spring lips. You know how I always bitch, complain, and whine about the fact I love orange but can’t pull it off on lips?
That isn’t the case when orange goes metallic! I can kinda dig metallic oranges that’s why Orange-Gina is my new BFF for Spring.

Milani’s new Color Statement Lipstick is all kinds of awesome. If you haven’t tried a few shades you’re missing out. Check your local displays at CVS and Walgreens as they are just starting to pop up in stores now. GREAT budget lipstick!
Orange-Gina Swatched Right
Orange-Gina is the exception (along with a few other shades) as it is kinda one of those shades that tugs and looks rather dry on lips. Blame it on the metallic finish? Dunno..but the texture is less than smooth on my lips and this is on lips that aren’t even dry! If you have chapped lips or are prone to flaky, dry lips I’d avoid the shade like the plague. I know this sounds like a rant but honestly, I love the shade!
If you can get past all the hassle of the drier texture the color is a gorgeous lighter burnt orange bronze pearl! It’s a true orange but very wearable due to the metallic finish. It’ll rock on tanned and darker skin tones but I had fun playing with it today and amuse myself that it looks rather well, just agree, no one gets hurt that way 😀
I think I can pull it off a hell of a lot easier than a cream finish. The shade kinda sorta reminds me of a lighter version of Revlon Orange Abstract.
