NP Set BB Cream Review & Swatches
BB Cream lovers take a glance around your local Target next trip as NP Set BB Cream is popping into stores just in time for Spring.
This BB Cream contains antioxidants like ginseng root extra and vitamins A and E with an SPF 30 to protect skin.
Take a peek!
This is a lovely gel formula with a hydrating formula that’s water based. Those familiar with Japanese BB Creams will recognize the creamy gel texture. It absorbs easily into skin and leaves behind sheerer coverage that evens out skin tone and conceals minor redness while perfecting skin for a more flawless finish. I found the gel texture delightful and rather refreshing although it mimics more of a foundation formula than that of a BB Cream. The coverage is very disappointing as it acts more as a tinted moisturizer however, I liked how it looked on my skin as it evened out my complexion and created a nice, brighter appearance.
Sadly, it’s only available in a single shade selection which should be suitable for more of a NC30-40. It’s a beige with peachy undertones but considering how sheer it is you might be able to get on board even if you are lighter.
Wear time varies but it seems to fade within a three to four hour period after application on my drier skin.
The kicker here is that it’s a whooping $29 for a single 1 oz tube.
Ouch!
I thought the formula nice enough but it isn’t a traditional BB Cream and the price is cringe-worthy.
Nice gel texture here but the lack of shades, price, and sheerer coverage doesn’t make me terribly happy.
Sigh.
Oh well!
It’s available this Spring at Target stores.
