NYX Gleam Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator Review & Swatches

NYX Gleam Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator

NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam is one of two new liquid highlighters that NYX launched for Spring. I already told you about and loved the other shade from this launch, Sunbeam.

I’ve likened these too NARS Illuminator so if you like Orgasm Illuminator you’ll love Gleam! Especially at the seven dollar price tag!

Winning!

NYX Gleam Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator ($7) (0.5 oz) is a creamy liquid highlighter that can be used on your face, eyes, etc…I mix a little with my foundation or use a bit on my cheek bones or even on the highbrow of my eyes to give them a lifted more awake look.

I’m kinda goofy with liquid highlighters but found this very easy to use. I loved the other shade they introduced but I LOVE Gleam. It’s a gorgeous golden peach that adds a pretty sunny glow to my face. I wish my camera could capture how it looks on but unfortunately I live in an old Victorian home so natural light is limited and I couldn’t quite capture an image that you could see outside of swatches.

The color isn’t NARS Orgasm but it is a fairly lovely golden peach shimmer. It’s delightful on top of coral blushes or stains to add that extra bit of illuminating glow to your face.

The creamy texture blends easily onto skin and isn’t too shimmery or sparkly.

If you loved NARS Illuminator but don’t love the price tag I’d suggest picking this little guy up! It’s a nice size tube (not overwhelmingly huge in a way you feel like you’ll never get through it all) that delivers a sunny glow to cheeks!

Loves!

Ooohh so pretty! I am seriously like a magpie when it come to hoarding shiny things. Do you think this would show up on dark skin tones (I’m an NC42 for reference)?

Muse approved as a Nars Illuminator dupe?! Awesome!

I like it! And I don’t think I’d ever be able to justify paying for the Nars Illuminator, but this I can definitely manage!

I love nars orgasm but I find that it’s a little to sparkly for me sigh. Deep throat goes on a little better for me!! Wish Nyx would make a nars orgasm multiple dupe haha

Does anyone know how this compares to Tom Ford Fire Lust Illuminator? I am curious about Fire Lust, but I know it’s sold out everywhere. How great would it be if this NYX product was a $7 dupe!?

Hehe thanks for this review! I was not able to decide whether to get gleam and sunbeam and seeing from how much you like this color I think I’ll get this one!
