Sonia Kashuk Brush Couture 5 Piece Brush Set 1

If you need some new brushes I’d highly recommend checking out Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Brush Couture 5 Piece Brush Set that’s available for Spring 2013 at Target.

This $14.99 synthetic brush contains some great essential brushes!

I’m always terribly impressed with Sonia Kashuk’s Brush Sets. I’ve purchased SO many of them as each seasonal release brings a new brush handle so I can’t resist picking up a new set. And at this price you can afford to do so.

The Couture Set includes:

  • Powder Brush
  • Concealer/Foundation Brush
  • Fluffy Eye Shadow Brush
  • Angled Contour Crease Brush
  • Flat Shade Brush

Funny thing about this set as every single brush is useable. You ever get those brush sets that contains a brow comb…seriously, I never make use out of those things! So I was delighted this set contained five brushes I’d make daily use out of. The bristles are soft and shed-free and the handles are a colorful blue print (hey, I dunno about you but I like pretty brushes so these handles are wicked in my book!).

I absolutely love the Angled Contour Crease Brush. I used to have a brush like this from Morgen Schick but this has a smaller head and fits into the contour of my crease perfectly. When I blend I tend to go a little too high and this brush is the perfect size to prevent that. The fluffier shadow brush is also great for blending as well!

For $14.99 you won’t find a better brush set. If you’re current stash is a little lacking and you’re in need of some quality brushes on the cheap these are a perfect budget friendly price! Five full size brushes for $14.99? Total score!

Loves ’em!

P.S. Anyone else excited to see Rob’s latest masterpiece? His Muse is in it, not me unfortunately, Sherri Moon. Been a while since he hit it outside of a franchise so I’m quite hyped to see this!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG, I totally don’t need new brushes, but those are sooooo pretty! i love the handles, and that looks like a very nice set of brushes. You know what I do when I want something, but have no reason to buy it? I just start trying to think of who I can give it to as a present. Then it still feels sort of like it’s mine. I know. It’s weird.

I have several of her basic line (white handles) and they are my absolute favorite eye brushes. They tend to run small, which is wonderful since most brushes are too big for my eyes. My fluffy brushes do shed a tiny bit, but overall very good quality, with a great balance between soft and dense. I find they are very versatile, I can do my entire eye with just the small shadow brush for example. They have held up really well, I’ve used them every single day for over a year and they still look new. I’ve considered buying some of her deluxe line several times.. but the shapes do not call to me. Most are quite large and I find the handles a bit odd.

Muse, I picked these up along with another limited set, and a colorful kabuki brush yesterday. I love them. It’s become a habit to pick up her colorful spring/summer brushes every year.
    I love them.

Am searching for her large powder brush? Any idea where I can buy online that ships to Malaysia? Thanks…

I just picked this up tonight based on your recommendation and I absolutely LOVE them! You were so right. They’re not only pretty, but they’re also super duper functional!! Such a great deal. I don’t have anything like the angled contour crease brush and will get a lot if use out if this one.
