Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette Review & Swatches
Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette provides a kiss of color on cheeks for Spring with an emollient soft blushing formula that can be used on cheeks and lips!
This quad of delightful colors is quite like having your own personal arsenal of Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks but at a fraction of the cost.
Take a peek!
This slick black palette contains four shades of gel blush for cheeks and lips that can be mixed and match to flush cheeks with a whisper of color. The arrival of this limited edition palette is just in time for Spring and Summer looks as the lightweight texture of the blushes is the perfect way to rev up your look for the warmer weather and shed your drab Winter shades for a little color!
The best part is the $14.99 price tag and the four shades of pink, coral, and berry shaded blushes! The palette contains generously sized blush wells along with a full size mirror for application. This is kinda my new travel companion at the moment! Easy to take with you on a little weekend holiday especially if you’re heading to a warm, tropical environment!
The blushes all have excellent pigmentation with a soft, dewy finish. They are comparable to Bobbi’s Pot Rouge but they have a more emollient texture. The formula isn’t creamy and relies more on a gel-like consistency which makes them a little challenging to blend out so you need a little TLC to get them onto cheeks correctly. I find dotting a small amount on the apples of my cheeks and blending with the heal of my palm helps to warm things up and get the shade blended out to a pretty flushed appearance. Sounds weird I know but they need a little tugging to get into place correctly. I typically dislike dewy finish blushes but these give skin a nice glow and sheen and look very natural when in places as if you just stepped in from a cold Winter’s night.
I didn’t like them on my lips as the formula was a tad too heavy however, used with clear gloss on top they are very wearable.
If you enjoy potted rouge products I’m positive this delightful palette will find its way into your heart. It’s a value at $15 for four generously sized blushes! The formula is a little tricky to use but is well worth the hassle as the glowing cheeks it provides is priceless!
