I dunno if I really want to belittle Sonia Kashuk Ultra Luxe Lip Gloss ($8.99) and call it a mere lipgloss. It’s so much more than a lipgloss.

This super pigmented gloss is possibly one of the best glosses formulas you’re going to find for under ten bucks.

Seriously, how many glosses give you shine? Plenty right? But how many give you excellent full color coverage? Not many right? The new Sonia Kashuk Ultra Luxe Lip Gloss collection is a newly launched line of glosses that have the super shiny, glossy finish a gloss, the texture of a hybrid liquid lipstick and gloss in one, and the pigmentation of a lipstick.

These have a soft, shiny texture with a thick, creamy formula that keeps lips moisturized throughout the wear and provide excellent color coverage. I tried two shades and was deeply impressed with the pigment on both! Each gloss features a brush applicator for application, my favorite way to apply gloss! The texture is quite thick with a bit of stickiness so if you don’t like thicker glosses you might want to step back. The formula applies full coverage on a stroke and can be built to fuller intensity on a second and third stroke. It’s an emollient gloss so it provides excellent moisture to my lips while leaving behind a smooth finish.

These are fragrance and flavor free for those sensitive to such. The wear time varies but I got a good solid five hours without drinking or eating. The gel-like formula is thicker but wears comfortably through the hours without migrating or drying out.

If you’re cool with a thicker slightly tacky lipgloss you’ll love these. Super pigmentation, a way comfortable formula, a brush applicator that helps apply product to a picture perfect finish, and a cheap price tag.
