Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer

I dunno if you need to wear your bronzer sixteen straight hours but Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer ($30) promises to get you through a hot, warm Summer day and perhaps for a full sixteen hours of it.

So hit the beach, party it up in the evening, and forget about your bronzer, it’ll be there all through you’re Summer fun!

Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer Summer 2013

Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer is one of two new bronzers that Too Faced introduced with their Hello Sunshine Summer 2013 Collection.

I dunno if I technically need a sixteen hour wearing bronzer since I tend to not like bronzer anyway but hey, those needing a long wearing formula this proves an excellent pick. I wore it through my work day (9 to 5) and into my night (5 to 11ish when I removed my make up) and it wore quite strong. No fading at all, never lost its intensity, and had a perfect finish throughout that time frame.

The formula has a double bond formula which adheres like a second skin. I haven’t worn it through a humid day yet but it does well through a normal, cooler day.

It applies and blends easily however, the formula is denser and a little less silky than other Too Faced Bronzers. But this isn’t an issue as I find that dense formula works best with kabuki which is how I enjoy using bronzer anyway. The color is a rather perfect cross of brown and bronze so it creates a very natural sunny tanned look that you’d find on a medium skin tone who stayed out in the sun too long and naturally tans. The shade will prove universally flattering for any medium to tan skin tones who enjoy contouring as well if you’d like to multitask with the formula!

If you’re a bronzer lover I think this is a rather great pick. Formula wears strong, is easy to apply, and will double up easily as a contouring powder.

if you’re SUPER fair it might be a little bit much…but for medium fair it should be fine!

      • Agata

I am not super fair so it should work, I have been looking for a contouring bronzer (a new concept to me too :))

        • the Muse

          agata it’ll work well as a contour…! It’s a nice cooler shade, nothing too brown/orange 😀

  • Veronica

It’s a too dark for my pale skin, but it is very nice to see a bronzer that has a more neutral/cooler undertone! I generally eschew bronzers specifically for that reason. So many of them just turn orange on my face.

    • the Muse

i agree some are too orange or way too brown. I think this is suited for more medium/medium fair but might def be too much for super fair skin. but yeah, def a good natural color.

  • Lily

Hi Muse. Is this a shimmery bronzer? I can’t really tell in the picture. thank you!

  • midori

Argh as soon as I am out of the country Too Faced (at last) offers a bronzer/contour I think that will work on me!
btw How are you, Muse? Hope you are doing well; )

    • the Muse

I’m great midori how are you? Where are you!? Hope it’s warm wherever you are!

    Ms. Muse….

If you have the time, and have any of the other solid-colored pressed powder Too Faced Bronzers (Milk Chocolate Soleil, Chocolate Soleil Matte, and Bronzed and Poreless), it would be very helpful if you would swatch them side by side so we can see the differences in colors and coverage. I’d love to see that comparison!

    • the Muse

hi twirly! Hope all is well.

I’ll to remember in my next post but sometimes I have a ton going on and not always able to compare shades in a review and swatch. Takes literally hours just to get pics of one product taken, cropped, and uploaded never mind me hunting through my stash for other shades and such 🙂 I’ll def try but please don’t be too disappointed with me if I forget 🙂 Plus I think I only have one other the milk chocolate and not the chocolate version of the bronzer :-/

      • TwirlyGirly

Yes….that’s why I started with “If you have the time….” I can’t even imagine how busy you are. No pressure – no worries Ms. Muse! I mentioned it because it might be helpful to see a comparison for those who are “iffy” about which one to buy – especially those who don’t have access to Sephora or Ulta and have to order it online!

        • the Muse

I’ll do my best, like I said no promises, hate to say yes I’ll do it and proceed to disappoint 🙂

  • amy

I really don’t need another bronzer… I rather enjoy the pale, pasty look, so I really only use them as contour shades. This one may work well. Do you have Smashbox Suntan Matte, and if so, are they comparable (in terms of color, not texture, wear-time, etc).

    • the Muse

i’m sorry am 🙁 I don’t have that one. :-/ not sure how the compare but off topic the new bronzer from SK is amazing! review is scheduled for tonight, really a seamless bronzer!

    • the Muse

it’s there now 🙂 ulta that is, haven’t checked sephora yet.

  • yelena

really? my ulta didn’t have it yet. I hope its at Sephora that would be awesome. its not on their website yet.

    • the Muse

      oh I meant online sorry! ;-/ ulta.com I haven’t checked in store.

      • the Muse

i LIED! just checked, not the 16 hour just the bronzed and poreless!

        • yelena

that’s what I thought. I have checked ulta and Sephora (online & instore) and NOTHING! I really rather buy it in store so I can see it and swatch it first. I have been trying to find information about when it will come to the stores but no such luck….anyone have any ideas? I mean I can wait a month or two but if its exclusive to TF for a whole year then I will go ahead and order from TF online 🙂

          • the Muse

try tweeting TF they are good about replying to ?’s 🙂

  • yelena

IT’S HERE IT’S HERE! LOL. its on Sephora’s website FINALLY! I ordered it immediately so I can atleast return in store if me no likey 🙂 YEYYYY

  • yelena

so I finally tried this today and….I like the color but the finish isn’t as smooth as I thought. I will try another BB cream tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. it has been 8 hours tho and still going strong so its def. long wearing 🙂
