Bobbi Brown Retouching Powder Peach

Do you believe in magic? Well, the new Bobbi Brown Retouching Powder that launched in six color correcting shades this Spring are indeed magic. These powders address every single little (and large one) that might bother you about your skin.

Dark spots, fine lines, redness, oil, whatever your issue Bobbi Brown has an app powder for that.

Let’s take a look at the Peach Retouching Powder.

Bobbi Brown Peach Retouching Powder shouldn’t blow my mind all that much. Shrug it’s just a peach powder right? Supposedly peach warms up lighter skin tones while evening out tanned and medium to dark skin tones. This is a paler peach loose powder with the consistency of an HD powder giving it that smooth, silky feel.

The joy here is it never looks cakey nor powdery and applies so sheer yet perfects so much you’ll pretty much see the results at a single application. I started using the paler peach to set my concealer at first. A simple swipe under my eyes after concealer application set it, forget it, and brightened up the area slightly.

Far be it for me to WANT to actually use powder on my face but I started swiping it down the sides of my nose, a little on my upper cheek bones, and before you know it this led to a little buffering all over my face using Bobbi’s Sheer Powder Brush. Flash forward a month or more later and suddenly this became a stable in my makeup regime.

Having drier skin I tend to avoid powders much of the time so I’m surprised I embraced this so much. It actually doesn’t really add warmth for me but works in a reverse fashion by brightening. The delicate almost pastel version of peach applies transparently but seems to also apply a little brightening to my skin while setting my makeup and perfecting my entire look.

I dunno if you need another powder in your stash but if you do I’d recommend checking out Bobbi’s new Retouching Powder. If all the colors are as good as the peach one I’ll be a happy girl indeed.

On the downside they are a little pricey at .16oz for $36 ouch! But hey it is Friends and Family Week so at least you can get 20% Off!

The color of this reminds me of the Ben Nye Banana powder which I’m currently yearning after

I’ve amassed quite the powder collection in my attempts to get BB creams to work for me. I layer different powders over them to achieve a more believable shade ’cause grayish is just not cutting it LOL. And to think I started off trying to avoid powders for a more modern look! Gonna check out the yellow one. Thanks Muse!

This sounds similar to the Chanel powder I have. ( douce poudre peche something or other LOL). It’s in a compact but it feels similar to how you described. Rumor has it that Chanel is discontinuing it when it launches the new healthy glow powders in the u.s. If thats the case I might be looking to BB! Thanks for the review. oh ps. the chanel powder is a huge compact so I’m thinking bang-for-buck wise it’s cheaper but that’s never stopped me before lol.

I just couldn’t get over how small it was. It’s like an eyeshadow pot of powder.

Reminds me a little of my Smashbox Halo redness corrector, I’ll have to pull that out of the stash snd play. this one looks really nice and the finer milled the better for the face.

I think I need to stop by my local BB counter to ask about these and figure out the right color for me. White seems so boring, and I could get that elsewhere, but I’m not sure about anything else.

good gravy the price for such a small amount. I’ll stick with Chanel’s loose powder. 🙂

If you had to choose between the Bobbi Brown pressed powder or retouching powder which one would you choose? In terms of the finish you get which one looks flawless/luminous?

Btw did this powder dry out your skin at all?

I’ve had the pink one forever..I mix it with HD powder for my underage and its funny how I seen u describe it…because the other day I used it to set my makeup because I was trying to see if my blush would turn more true if it I set it before blush instead of after…and I looked in the mirror at the mall and was like WOW..and I I’ve been using urban decay naked loose which is awesome so to say it made that much difference is awesome.
