E.L.F. Cosmetics Store Opens in New York

E.L.F. Cosmetics Store

Tell me this isn’t interesting news! E.L.F. Cosmetics will be opening a flagship store in Manhattan!

How cray is that? Seriously, it’s happening. All your E.L.F. favorites now a store away. I’m not sure if more stores will follow but from my understanding the shop will be open towards the end of May, the shop is actually already opened, a reader just Facebooked me to say as such. I’m going to try to head over there today. Dead curious what an E.L.F. Store would be like! It’s located @ 741 Broadway.

Why does the idea of an entire shop of E.L.F. Cosmetics boggle my little mind?

What do you think?

Would you shop there?

Do share!

In other news happy bloody weekend! Thank the makeup gods it’s Friday! I, for one, cannot wait to get this weekend started! Looks like it’ll finally be some nice weather too. I really need to get some Spring cleaning done but if this weather holds out I doubt very much I’ll be indoors for any of it. Earlier this month I was playing with the idea of heading down to Florida this weekend to see Otherwise (it qualifies as stalking if you see them more than once in concert. Call the cops, arrest the short little Muse in the front row!) and Alice in Chains at Rock Fest but I decided not to. I’m seeing the Darkness in May so that’ll tide me over until the next Otherwise concert hits NY.

And with that I leave you this…..

the darkness

…..it’s that one rare image where my eyes are drawn to Dan rather than Justin! Ah hell who am I kidding? I wouldn’t be averse to a Muse Hawkins sandwich! Not in the least.

Enjoy!

TGIF! Happiest Weekend!

Love you all!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’d buy the Matte Lip Pencil Colours, the hypershine glosses, the studio H.D. Blush and I’d call it a day. 😀

  • evo

Sweet! I’ve always wanted to try them but the international shipping costs deters me. I might be heading to NYC at the end of next month.

    I better start saving money!

  • yelena

i would def. shop there. in fact I would be more likely to spend in store than online because its hard to try something new if you haven’t seen it in person. ooooh I hope they have testers! that would be awesome. let us know how it goes muse! I don’t live in new York but I am planning on going again soon 🙂

    • the Muse

i surely will. I believe they actually have testers out! which is kinda cool ;D!

  • lib

😮 awesome!! I never wanted to pay for shipping…something about paying the same for shipping when I only want 3 things never felt worth it to me, lol. this is great news!!

  • Kathy

Wow! With their low prices, they’re going to have to do a ton of volume to pay for that real estate!

      ITA
there was an article in WWD last week about this and thought the same,

*This* is why I want to live in NY… Well, the people I’ve met from there, and when I visited years ago, are awesome, too! Now, if they’d only do a store in L.A.; it’s so hard to find here, and when you do, the options are sooo limited. I abhor online shopping, or I’d buy a ton more.

Are you planning to do a store review? Please, please say yes! I would love to see some of their products in person instead of just on their website. (Well, not exactly in person since I’m several states away, but you know. Vicariously living through the Muse and all that.)

  • Cindy Ramirez

Buuuuuuuut if you had came to FL I could have stalked you while you stalked them. :'[ </3

    • the Muse

awww don’t worry I’ll make it there soon and we can hang! we’ll call the cthulhu from his watery home and party like its 1999!

  • Ivy

Please take pics!! PLEASE MUSE! 1/2 of my makeup is ELF and I’m SOOOO envious if you *sob*

    • the Muse

hi ivy I did actually I’ll try to upload them shortly 😀

  • Krystel

Just got back from the store, it’s great! They sell alllll ELF products and the customer service is great. I picked up some HD Blushes, Bronzer and some brushes, all prices are the same as the site and they have testers for everything. They just opened up last week, GO NOW!

  • Krystel

O, how could I forget, Thanks for putting us on Muse, wouldn’t have known this if it weren’t for you, thanks a million.

  • Sara

Do fill us in on the trip! I just picked up another 2 colors of the gel eyeliner, the punk purple and teal tease. I’m wearing teal today and it’s fabulous! SUCH a steal for $3! I have 7 different gel liner colors…

I actually bought three 80 pc palettes on an E.LF. online sale for Mother’s Day gifts and one for me, of course. I like how the palettes can it be switched around, good pigments with use of primer, good for natural or smoky or rainbow look. Smooth creamy textures, not to much fallout, good size color pans, could use slot for brushes for on the go but still a great price. My daughter and I both love ours, and think mom will too. I own almost every E.L.F. product and prefer them over MAC or Sephora because lower price and quality is just as good. Check out the lip exfoliator on the studio line, the best product of all. Now they need to bring a store to California because it takes 10 days for shipment to arrive and no spring collection yet in any local Targets. Thanks Muse for all the awesome reviews. 😀

  • MJ

AWESOME!!! my local Target where I usually get e.l.f products just cleared out their whole e.l.f display to expand their CG/Maybelline/Revlon ones, so this is super exciting! thanks for the news, Muse 😀 (that rhymed! hehe.)

  • Justine

I’d love to visit an ELF store, especially since only a small part of their line is available at Target. I know you can just order online, but sometimes it’s so much better going in store and visually seeing everything!

  • Amy Amethyst

Oh my, The Darkness!!! My sis and I were so obsessed with them. Take me with you to the concert!

    • the Muse

come on over amy ;-D we’ll experience justine’s sweat together lol!

  • Amanda Elisabeth

This is cool! Luckily my bf lives close to the city so maybe I’ll get to go in July!

  • Hannah

I visited the store a week ago, bought 3 makeup brushes, baked blush and a matte lipstick (i thnk thats what it is). I pretty much have all the elf brushes i wanted. It’s a nice store. You can test the products. The sales people were nice too.

  • Steph

I wish they would consider opening up a shop in Canada! It’s so hard to find their stuff over here, and when we do, it’s always so over priced (ie: something that is usually $5 USD on their website goes for like $8 CDN here…it’s insane).

    • amy

I’m in Los Angeles, and things are next to impossible to find, and when I do find a retailer, the selection is very limited. One Targety that carries e.l.f. actually charges $0.79 above MSRP, which is ridiculous (it doesn’t seem like much, but it all adds up!). As for Canadian pricing, that wouldn’t change if there were a store there; pricing has to do with economic policies that have nothing to do with e.l.f., or any other cosmetic brand.

  • Hill

There’s one opening in Cardiff, Wales in the next few weeks. First in Europe. Can’t wait ! Elf going to take retail by storm…

  • Georgina

Hi!!!…Ill travel to Manhattan next week and I want to know if web prices are the same as those in the E.L.F. NYC store. Thanks!!!!♥

  • Lauren

I went to new york in the middle of may with my friends and was so surprised and happy to see the elf store! I introduced my friends to the brand and we all went crazy getting stuff! oh and the ladies who work there are super nice!
