Etude House Missing U Endangered Bird Lip Balm Review

Etude House Missing U Eastern Grass Owl Egg Lip Balm

As if we don’t have enough lip spheres right? But the Etude House Missing U Endangered Bird Lip Balm isn’t only cute its also a great purchase that benefits endangers species of birds!

This cute little speckled egg lip balm is much like EOS Lip Balm Spheres.

Take a look!

Etude House Endangered Bird Missing U Lip Balm

Etude House introduced these Missing U Lip Balms a while ago and even though I own enough EOS Lip Balm Spheres to sooth a small village’s lips I still wanted to pick one up!

The Eastern Grass Owl Egg, the one I have photographed for this review, is a peach flavored balm. The sphere shape fits the contour of my lips perfectly so it’s super easy to apply on the go. I love this design anyway thanks to EOS’s popular lip spheres!

The formula has a nice fruity, peachy flavor but isn’t overwhelmingly fragranced or flavored. I find it provides about the same amount of moisture as the EOS Lip Spheres which isn’t a lot bit is enough to hydrate lips and soften them.

Etude House Missing U Endangered Bird Lip Balm

I don’t think you necessarily need these but if you live in Asia and the EOS ones are a little harder to come by this Etude House one is a perfect dupe!

Plus part of the funds go to a nice little cause.

I got mine off E-bay and a slew of different sellers have them in single purchases or even in four packs as they come in four different designs/flavors.

Anyone try these?

I, like most junkies, have more than I can even count. At work I have a pot of Nuance rose balm. At home, specifically on the couch, I have rosebuds strawberry. At my makeup station area, my go-tos are stick versions of badger balm vanilla and more rosebuds and some asian rose honey treatments. On my night stand is the byterry rose baum, got it with birchbox points for $20 and jurliques love balm tangerine. Of course, I have waaaaay more balms but those are my go tos for this moment. 🙂

don’t mind me I’m half on what I am typing here, twitter, and other half with a game controller in my hand….sorry ’bout that should have been listening better/reading. mmm I dunno, about six? seven? maybe more with the LE stuff like the Alice and Wonderland Set.

YAY~!!! I really want to pick these up…but other Etude House products keep stopping me…waahh

Soo many choices…not enough money lol, my poor little wallet

I had two eos lip balms and lost them! probably under something in my room… they just roll away from me. I love them though. The little spots are cute but are these less scented than the eos ones? I love the scent of the eos ones, just right.

Not a fan of EOS balms, so this isn’t for me. But I did just add one of their little bird hand creams to a Korean skincare order the other day…just couldn’t resist cotton candy scented cream in a little bird container!

I blame your review from the other day. 😉

What lip balm ISN’T currently in my makeup bag is the real question!

  • Cami

Hi, I was wondering if you know which brand came up with the innovative idea of the dome-shaped solid lip balm in the first place? Was it EOS, or did they copy it from an Asian brand??

Your blog rocks! Can’t get more detail than you have available! I would love to see your vanity desk/cupboard… it must be EPIC!!! <3

    • the Muse

not really sure cami…eos was the first I tried than later on I noticed Asian brands releasing them as well so maybe EOS? but Asia is so far ahead of the game it could be Asian companies that did. Thanks so glad you enjoy the site 😀

  • McKenna

I definitely am picking this up I have 19 eos lip balms now I will get this kind! Are they as scented as eos?

I honestly wouldn’t buy ANY lip products from eBay or amazing or ANY online store, because you’re NEVER 100% SURE if the seller has used the lip balm/lip product or not! That is SOOOO GROSS!!
